Vok, you queen isn't exactly Naga. It has a hair of snakes, like the Mudusas.
But still, she has no snake's talk, she has an octopus leg's.
Therefore, I assume this queen is half Nagas and half Medusa.

Nazjatar is an underwater city, and the naga capitol.
Hmmm Lady Vashj is not dead her status is killable boss in WoW.

When you're buildings a race, try to find unique creatures for it. There shouldn't be many creatures that start with the race name. The names should be unique for every faction.
For example, instead of calling a creature "Lizardman Warrior" search for kinds of Lizardmen. The Lizardman Warrior is called Kroxigor, which is much better name. Use it.
In this way, you are able to find more unique and original names for your creatures, and you can invent names for your creatures.

This specific name doesn't matter. I'm just showing you a way to find better names for your creatures. It's better to mention where the name is taken from, indeed. I'll put it on the Faction Makers Guide, as well.

wheit! about the naga queen agein, Medusas dont have tentacels like octopuses so its not a half naga half medusa but a difrent monster and naga have snakes insted of hair (only the woman naga and not all of them have snekes isted of hair) but nagas are sneke peapel not green snake (some of them are green) but more bloo and aqatik

1. There are no Medusas in Azeroth, Emerald Dream or Outland/Draenor (some of the planets/dimisions/worlds om yje warcraft universe).
2. The Sea Witches looks like medusas, but they are naga rangers/leaders.
3. Lady Vashj is killable, this means dead. Kalethas however didnt die, he just faked.
4. Empress Azshara, the Naga Queen is a naga, not some kind of hyper naga medusa. Its is possible that she is some kind of Hybrid. The OLd Gods, their masters, simply transformed her like that because she was the leader of the naga, and one of the Old Gods chosen.
5. Is there some kind of lizardmen called Kroxigars now?
Also the anicnet evil cretaures called the Olds Gods in the warcraft universe do have tentacles, its speculated that Queen/Émpress Azshara is part Old God, part Naga.

the old god is made up creature in the expension of the dwarfs thet is homemede and the tentakels as nothing to do white nagas/medusas!
BTW: in the last time nagas as almost nothing to do white the medusas + sea wiches as nothing to do white the medusas eiter

this doesn't mean dead in the lore... guys like uther lightbringer are dead in the game lore, thrall's status is killable too, but in the game lore and storyline he is alive

Thats not the same thing. Lady Vashj cannot ressuret herself. We would lady vashj return anyway?
There is no reason for her to come back and now when the Alliance and the Horde has the control of Outland she is trapped inside her little cavern.
Raid Bosses just die, they wont ressurec themself. ALthought i hope that Illidan will return...
But bosses like Ragnaros could return in an expansion that would feature the Elemental Plane.

Ragnaros is old god too, in the lore only 2 old gods are killed by the titans. And one in AQ temple. Also Gul'dan and Medivh may return. But this start to be offtopic.

Okey, hopefully this will be my last of-topic post in this thread.
LordEvil: I was saying that to Vokial. I was saying that raid bosses wont ressurect themself.
Vokial: Ragnaros is not an Old God, Ragnaros is the LIETUANT of the Old Gods, one of the great Elemental Lords.
Its rumored that he didnt died, that he just was banished back to the Elemental Plane.
There are five old gods.
1. One is in Darkshore. He killed an Titan, but the Titans pwned him later. You can see the Titans sword in his body.
That one is propbably not really, 100% dead.
2. In AQ, C'thun. Killed another Titan. The Titans "killed" him, also he was not 100% dead, its rumored that in 1000/10.000 years in teh future he will ressurect himself as he already has done once.
3. One is in Azjol'nerub, up in Northrend. He commands the mysterious Faceless and the Forgotten Ones.
4. ??? Rumored to be inside Grim'batol or Tirisfal Grove but some thik he is under the great tree of Teldrassil.
5. ??? rumored to be under the great Maelstrom.
Edit: Gul'dan died. You can see his spirit in Outland, its is possible that we will see his ghost/spirit again but as a raid boss in the Tomb of Sargeras.
Medvih was ressurected by his mother, Aegwynn, when he had done hes task he returned into the spirits of the past, this means that he returned to dead, that he finally could get peace.
BUT it is rumored that he never did that, but returned to Karazhan. In Karazhan you can see a great black crow flying around the Great Tower.

Having original names doesn't mean the creatures are not related to each other.
Succubus and Pit Fiend are both original names and they are related to each other.
That's just one example.
The point is that the contact between isn't in the name, it's in the creature.
There's no need to write "Demon Succubus" and "Demon Pit Fiend" to understand they are related.

A slightly different town development system
Hey there!
First I must confess, I haven't read through all of this thread, so I don't know if anybody has talked about town dynamics. But even before HV I was thinking of a more complex way of townbuilding.
Some terrain-based creatures
Maybe not for all towns, but for some, when that town is either on the Natural Soil of it's creatures, or when it's placed in a very different location. Then one or two creatures will be exchanged from the original rooster. Say for example an Academy town. On desert terrain they will be able to build the home of the Sandworm, but on snowy terrain they will instead tame the Yeti. And on all other terrain they only get the Rakasha. An Inferno town built on snowy terrain will be able to summon Ice Demons instead of Pit Fiends.
Creatures linked to an element
All towns will be able to build one Elemental Shrine building. The Shrine gives all visiting heroes some resistance toward that specific element and a Summon Elemental spell. Depending on what element is chosen, specific creatures can be unlocked.
Academy again: If town gets Air Shrine it will be able to build the dwelling of the flying-on-a-tiny-carpet Desert Knight, if they get Earth Shrine they instead get the Golem Forge. Inferno towns building Fire Shrines will get Efreeti instead of Nightmares.
One could also let the direction of the upgrade depend on the Shrine or terrain. And drop the swapping-between-two-possible-upgrades ability of towns in ToE.

I really like your ideas. I only have a few comments about some of them:

Sounds great, but the giantic sand worms (like in Dune) move, and towns don't. So what about only a several buildings are built on a worm, that moves around the town. It will be a cool animation.

I thought that HOMM6 will be less about the Elementals, and more about the qualities/values of every faction (like Kindness, Agression, Wisdom, etc). For example, for Nagas can have Summon Water Elemental on their special elemental building. However, having specific magical resistance for every facion will make the magical factions weaker.

You're saying that the Academy town should be slithering on gargantual worms instead of hoovering like the flying saucer it is now?

My thought on the Elemental Shrine wasn't fully explained. I meant that every time a hero visits the town s/he will get an increased defence against that element for the next battle. And maybe, when defending, heroes will deal more magic damage if the magic is associated with that element. Say effective spellpower increased with 1-3.

It's not necessary. Must admit I haven't tried ToE yet, so maybe it's extremely good. But it will add some more planning if one is only allowed one of the upgrades.
