No . Creeping means killing enemy AI neutrals for resources and stuff. I think what your thniking of is good creeping. Noone ever mentions it when they do badly at it anyway

Here is an example of creeping. Two cyclopses against a whole army and they did not stand a chance - Gotai's ballista is just too good. Yes, the battlefield favoured me and the AI did not play as good as it should but 25 hell chargers, 60 pitlords, 6 archdevils and 120 cerberi is damn impressive.

Funny how both the horned grunts get double damage from retaliation after the leap attack AND the griffins get 1.5 retaliation plus counterstrike. That hurt

I think this rage thing is just too strong.
I mean... it should not reduce Vorpal Sword for god's sake...
I understand reducing physical damage, even spell damage, but when it comes to special attacks like hero attacks, vorpal sword, harm touch or other similar effects I think it should not count.
I hope the patch 3.1 fixes this.

Seems puppet mastering phantom forced those new cerberi was the key.

Also, anyone knows is there a way to set a speed of replay? For me, sometimes it goes on snails pace, then suddenly increases speed that you can hardly follow the combat, then again changes speed,...and so on and on.

Same here, don't know why. And I hate the French replays (don't understand what the combat texts mean)...

Why the new summoning spells are good. Sheer destructive force or puppet is not the only way. That said I'm using Zehir and he has stormlords but this trick can be used regardless and they work well with a big army. With the many spellpower perks on the new wizard hive has great potential.

Are you on an internet connection shared by many others in your house? If so you all share the same IP and the porn downloads by them (or you *g*) block your replay downloads.

ppl, i think it will be good to post our comments about these replays too, what is wrong there and what can be done better, not silently watch them

about new summoning spells
they are indeed very good, especially blade barrier
summon hive usefulness depends on many factors, it is mana intensive and can be destroyed very easily, if its first turn comes after a while

I'm on a campus network... sharing my connection with lots of horny scientists
The Necro vs Dwarf stuff I really enjoyed. Always loved multiplayer between good players.
Divine Vengeance seems overpowered to me... It is none the less a very useful spell.

The problem there is that the Hive isn't as predictable when facing a real army (or mixed neutrals), aswell as the fact that it isn't as easy to block this way if you have a full army with you rather than just a stack of tier 7.
Blade Barrier is good nonetheless, though. Can also be used to prevent enemy shooters from shooting, aswell as the Arcane Crystal (the latter however also blocks your own shooters if you try to use it as a shield for them). It can be destroyed of course, but doing so wastes valuable turns and the damage returned is quite noticable.

Actually it is. Whether a unit charges you or remains back it's easy to plan ahead and neutralize it. Where it won't be of much use is in a situation where two shooters are protected by a melee like squires, marksmen and priests It may take some planning with your other spells so that you can disable ranged or other units that may destroy it of course.

You are gonna love this one :D
Probably my luckiest battle ever and one of the most flashy too.
In the last mission with Wulfstan against the inferno town I saw that with three succubi stacks it was best to charge in there, at worst I could counter my losses with divine vengeance.
Then I noticed that the harpooners MIGHT just end the game for me and luckily enough they drew the demons to a favourable position so the thunder thanes could strike. And just when I was about to activate rune of battlerage I use the incorporeality one And the large stacks miss!
The highlight is rune of battlerage on 6 stacks that devastated almost everything as each time the lightning courses through multiple stacks. You can also catch a glimpse of how good divine vengeance is with big armies. Not like 12 untamed cyclopses from the orc campaign but pretty good.
