I just want to make sure you know:
10 represent something perfect, so it's really hard to get it.
The grades might seem low, but they are not low actually.
Consider that marks between 6-8 are very good, 5-6 great and 4-5 good.

When I first judged this competition a few yrs back when it first came out, we were fair.
I was very strict with my points.
I gave out positive criticisms to make them better.
I got the business yea. I have been told off. i was also given compliments because I rarely give very high points. When i do, they know they earned it.
Friend Of Gunnar had a great town & it was very fair. Plus he did alot of work on it.
We will see how fair it is.It is not that hard at all to be a good judge. All it takes is some time to read the stories. Read it like if you believe it. If you can not believe in the story & the history, then it's tough to find it interesting.
Same with the fairness of the town structures, creatures & the capabilities.

My entry can be found on page 7, near the bottom of the page.
I would make a terrible judge hehe. I am too nice and would have probably increased each persons score. Then again I think everybody does a decent job, even if some towns are not understood. Despite what people think, it can be difficult to balance the racial, ultimate, and creatures.
For the next round here are some suggestions. Mix-Match. The creatures in the town have absolutely nothing in common with each other.
Silly/Funny - Pretty useless in combat, but with funny or weird abilities. (And as a possible side one to this : Level one fearfest, where every creature in the army is only as strong as most level one creatures).
No, have nothing yet for the above, I just think it would be interesting.

I was thinking about the lizardmen, like in Heroes III, but I think there might be too many lizard towns already.

Thats not true.
As much as any sci fi around & any kind of creatures ever made up.
There are many many kinds.
Fire Salamanders,Spinx,Go back to haunted things even.
There are many things never mentioned.Try something really diferent but trying to keep them in the same story line.
I know you can do it Fofa.
If I didnt think you can, I wouldnt care to always type the way I do.
Think of all the different stories & all the mythical events thats not only from Greek Mythology.

An interesting place to start is Norse Mythology. There are a lot of unused material there. Even some twists on Grimm Fairytales might be interesting . Are we having the next competition?

You could have used norse mythology in the last round if you wanted to
I think next round should be a "technology" round.
Okey not like the Forge, and its not future or something.
Steam technology, if you have played Warcraft 2/3 and maybe WoW you will know what i mean.
The Dwarfs have Steam Tanks there for example and the Gnomes flying machines (teh dwarfs have it too).

I know more about Native American mythology (maybe because I am mostly Cherokee and Blackfoot indian (ok 3/8 indian)). Still wish I had half the stealth ability as my 300 lb brother tho. Seriously, how quiet can a guy be that is THAT big? Anyhow, as for technology I would not be so good on that front, maybe a judge?

That would be a good one too. If nobody objects I will get it started, and be a judge. If somebody else would prefer different let me know. Will give plenty of time, lets say Dec 11. One month. Beast Faction first, since it was on hold, then tech faction? Everybody ok with that?

I wont join next round of course
Then i will give no chance to the others to get 2 points... (i already have 4 points, i won the "elf" round and the "mythology" round)
So i think its cheating if i join
And im a bit busy with the legendary thread in this forum and H6 Haven there.

Daystar and I agreed that there's no need to continue the Bonus Faction Competition. We should move forward and use the factions we created for other things. So I guess this is the end of the Bonus Faction Competition, unless one of you would like to organize another round or two. Meanwhile, I call you to paricipate on the Joint Forum H6 Project and on the Creature Comptition Game.

As I said, I will be willing to organize this. Some people have yet to get a chance to participate who really want to. If I have anything to say about it, well get around to quite a few. This round will be the Beast round, and well go forward from there.

I would prefer here. Despite some of my threads ending up being duplicates (by accident), I hate cluttering places with threads. As long as the others don't mind, I am good with it.
