Xhane Contest - Modding Competition
One of the five individual competitions promoted by Xhane, the new Community Developer for Might&Magic.
You have to post NCF creature for Heroes 5 TotE. The mod may be older as well, not specially created for the contest, just the autor have to sign here by posting it. You can't post more than one entry. Top entry wins some of the clash of heroes figurines.

I do not know which to post :x I'm very embarrassed : Wisps... or Bean Sith ?! I consider them both as my two best NCFs...
I'll think about it, so not yet decided which of those I'll post but I'm in 
Questions :
 For my Wisps for example, I post the "trilogy" ? 'Cause they make only "one" creature, with its upgrades :x
Should we post the screenshot, name and description too ? What do you look for : balance, visual + Homm.V integration,... ?

Just like in normal NCF thread at the Workshop, just as post here.
I'll limit you to one version, just because some competitors may not have ever made creature with upgrades, so one of them (doesn't matter upgraded or not).
Criteria: creativity, vision, modding tehnique (especially), completeness (for example if there is no creature icon). I think not to add the balance, since it's more modding competition than dream creature creating, but of course special abilities must fit for the creature, but it's let's say a bonus that will not win the competition, I won't give much attention to it.

Also, in fact, I firstly wanted to name it Banshee, but the name was already token. So here as we are in a contest, I name it like this.

Description : There it is, what happens to Shadow Matriarches when they have used Dark Magic too many times : they are transformed into Banshees. Now, they only have the skin on their bones, poisonning anybody who comes nearby them with their pestilential breath. Very uggly, they are so repugnant that they significally decrease the morale of the creatures that glance to them.

These animated skeletal remains of slain sorcerers wield the forces of Light and Dark magic, regardless of the fact it is a difficult task for a single mage to master both of the magic schools without self destruction. The answer to that riddle is that a reanimated Skeleton Mage is actually constructed from bits and pieces of any number of different skeletons, not a single one.

I'm hesitating between 5 of them
the captain centaur. it would be perfect, except that it isn't very original.
the blood hound, but it might be too resident evil-esque

Mimic Crystals are terrible traps imagined by the wizards. Judging by their appearance, they look like normal crystals, but they have their own will, ready to unleash the power of the lightning on whoever will fall for it.

Notes :
- Invisibility and mana syphon can be used 99 times
- Invisibility is used to attract enemies in the aura of lightning vulnerability (the crystal is immune to spells, and can't be targeted by shooters (except area attacks) while invisible)
- Casting spells doesn't remove the invisibility, forcing the enemies to rush.
- The crystal may strike itself with chain lightning. notice that he has enchanted obsidian and receives 50% more damage from lightning.
- Well, now it sounds totally imba

Soryy for the late judging, guys, I was busy for the last few days, so here are the results with comment:
TSoD - Banshee
It's a masterpiece of the modding technics. First you prove with your creating very good knowledge in modding (all this operations - the hair, the nose, changing sound effects). Also great retexturing skills, not typical for everyone. Adding warcraft creature may speak itself for less originality (since it's not invented by yourself), but in your advantage I can say that it isn't just imported WC3 creature, but this mod is it's HoMM5 remake, since you make it yourself by modding H5 creatures and adding some parts from the WC3 game. Very hard work, very nice modding skills and technics used here, not the full amount of originality, but nice amount of it, since, as I said, you created it yourself with parts of differents creatures from another game.
Radar - Skeleton Mage
One of the most charismatic NCF creatures ever created, I think it's the favourite of many players and modders aroung. Again great modding technics, swaping effects, and again proving some retexturing skills (not like I don't know you have them from ages). Nice creativity, not the full one, but still, it's all your creature. Again, great modding skills and technics shown, nice creativity proven by yourself, just like with other NCF's.
Fauch - Mimic Crystal
Full bonus for ariginality here. Making the crystal true monstar was totaly unexpected (generaly nice idea for creature, let's say, summoned by hero or another creature, or a neutral one, etc...). Again nice in technics, but in the case it's not shown your full potential in this index (we know it for you other NCF's). Anyway you compensate with creativity in parts.
Who's the Winner?
Firs to say I expected more competitors, at least more 2 or 3, I sent message with invitation to 6-7 modders, most of the was keeping the HCM. So thanks to everyone who get involved in this sport. If we do it again I hope for more.
Now the winner. Choosing one of you for winner is very, very, very hard decision to make, since all of you are excellent, first class modders, best in the small world of HoMM5 modding (along with few other nicknames  ). Also these three creatures are all great and masterpieces. But as you know I can't split the reward between three of you, one must be the winner.
And the winner is... TSoD you are ther lucky one! I think you put lot of work in your creature (just like the other contestors), but the thing that is notable are first the added sound effects, the many, many parts combined in one creature and the completely new look of the creature, as the crystal and skele ir great as well they look a bit more to their prototypes. Banshee just barely do that. Three unique creatures, just your's the the most unique. So the victory is with just a little advantage, but sure.
Great work from everyone, all deserve something. I'll ask Mytical to add at least a QP to three of you that "ventured" to enter the first modding competition ever.
