A holographic emitter lit up and an image of an Evolon female appeared on the desk.
Vlad and Lena were playing domino and Seth as usual was cleaning his rifle.
- Khem.
- Tormi!- Shouted Lena- What's up?
- Bad news. We detected a power shift. The subject Ouroboros has gained more power.
- Jobtvajumat, as if it's not enough already.- Said Vlad.- Anything else, Tormidhal?
- No, that'll be all.
- How do we fight him?
- Now? Not possible. Stand by and observe. Tormidhal out.- The hologram faded.
- Stand by she says. Jobtvajumat.

Kane walked into Machine Mob territory, not caring about the danger he put himself in. Finding Mallard was his only goal for the day, he didn't even have to find the man as his machines would probably find him first.

Melony yelled back as frantically as Ouroboros, "I've lost Kane, Miasma is gone, the Commissioner is just as hidden and-" She was interrupted as a spike of darkness passed by her head, and also passed by Ouroboros. Both by inches. The shadows retracted and widened, making a hole...
Wide enough for me. Griel slid smoothly to the bottom of the hole it had created in Ouroboros's ceiling and looked around the room. Its gaze passed over Melony and Ouroboros uncaring and cool, as it searched for its prey. It spotted Sig, smaller and only lightly glowing, with mortal wounds to his body. Griel also discovered that it could not steal the powers from this being. "Oh yes, you creatures will be worthy adversaries. Oh yes indeed," It whispered. Drifting to the fallen 'Titan', Griel muttered, "I have a special job for you, my first. Tell you masters, there is a war coming." Griel's eyes burned with amusement, "Tell them that their time is over. Done? Because now it is time for you to die." Griel rammed its claws into Sig's chest and unleashed a pulse of shadow that swept through his entire body. Griel laughed as his corpse fell to the ground, dark and broken.
It became aware of a small nuisance in the back of its head. That girl... Griel knew her, didn't it? It had been saying something the entire ti-
"Miasma! What are you doing?!" Melony shrieked. Something in Griel's mind shattered, and it felt itself beginning to split.
"NO!" G9 protested, "I will not let this happ-"
Shut up, G9. Miasma stated.
Ouroboros and Melony watched as a little black blob shot out of Miasma and took humanoid-shape. "Damn you Miasma! There are more important things going on now than you protecting that b*tch!"
"G9. Run." Miasma said. The blob stuttered and looked out the hole. "Or die." The yellow eyed creature stared at Miasma, and then followed the order.
"This isn't over!" G9 called back.
Miasma turned back to Melony and Ouroboros. "I'll be taking her now, Ouroboros. Don't try to stop me."

"Excellent timing, Miasma." replied Ouroboros. "I know you will be able to protect Melony and Lisa. Oh, and my dog too, hopefully. I would hate to see him left behind all alone."
"What? What the hell just happened here!" exclaimed Lisa as she walked in with Tiberius close behind, wagging his tail.
"There's no time to explain, Lisa. Melony will watch over you. Oh, and your father was not actually our father." replied Ouroboros. "But I am still your brother, Lisa."
Ouroboros got up and then walked over to Melony. "I suppose this is goodbye isn't it? I can teleport you and the others anywhere you wish. If you wish, I can bring you all to my hidden cottage in the mountains. Even if they do find you, it is easy to defend, and there is plenty of food and water there."

"I don't think that where I go should be known to you, should it Ouroboros? Miasma made a nice hole for us to make our escape, and I'm thinking that we should use it." Melony whispered, obviously not enjoying a word of anything she said. Miasma looked at her in confusion. "So I guess this is goodbye, for now. I hope that we meet again, someday. Goodbye, happy hunting. Come on Lisa, Miasma, Tiberius, let's go."
Miasma carried all three of them out of the hole. "Is there something I should know about?" It asked once they reached the top.
"No. There might have been, if we had been together longer, but for now we are just friends." She told it.
Miasma looked at her in amusement, "I knew that, it was obvious. You forget how well I know you. I was asking about where every man and his dog," it nodded to Tiberius, "should be hiding."
"Oh, I was thinking that Jack could start to repay me." She chuckled.
"Ah, back to the apartment. Repay you for what?" Miasma asked as they walked toward the building.
"... I'll tell you when we get there, little shadow."

((OOC: It's been a while, let's see what I can come up with.))
Austria:
Edmund, his mind still clouded by his inner beast and trying to escape with the cow he killed and was eating, could not dodge Richard's punch. He head bent and he was flung backwards, in the process ripping out a chunk of the cow where he had dug his claws and tallons into.
Edmund's vission was fading, he nearly was at the edge of the roof, if he could just.... see Richard coming at him at full speed again. Edmund braced himself for the impact. He would try to grab him and, in pro-wrestling style, lift him over his head.
Edmund shifted slightly and let Richard's attempted punch turn into a bodycheck. Edmund lifted the large man over his head. "What in blazes are you trying....GGAAHHH!!!"
Edmund's spine and tail glowed brightly, electricity arced over the individual bones. Edmund's scream turn into a howl into a roar. Before his legs buckled and he fell down unconcious. Richard landed awkwardly on top of Edmund.
As Richard got up he noticed they were not alone. From everywhere Troopers appeared, aiming for him.
"Richard Smith!" One of the troopers called out, through a soundsystem. "You are placed under arrest. You have violated codes 443-8, 624-9, 919.1 and 227 of the European Confederate Codex of Law. By violating those codes, you have violated the Trans-Atlantic Espionage Treatise and no longer enjoy the protection of your government. You will be taken into custody. Any and all resistance may be met with lethal force. Your coconspirators are being taken into custody as we speak. Lie down on your stomach and put you hands on your head. Any and all items in your possesion will be taken from you, as perscribed by European Codex Law."
As Richard complied, he saw that their car was halted somewhere in the middle of the field. Mr. X and the Commisioner were forced out at gunpoint and were being arrested as well.
New Constantinople:
As Kane walked in the district, a reinforced door next to him swung open. The door led to a dingy concrete room with an Android standing behind a counter.

In the countryside outlying New Constantinople appeared a column of light and fire from the sky into the ground. Out of the small crater stood a being of light with purple flames swirling about him.
"Find the shadow mortal and kill her. Beware the other being of darkness that I have seen with her." Chronos's voice echoed in the Immortal's head. "They may not be able to kill you, but they can severely delay you."
"Acknowledged, master." replied the Immortal as he grew shining wings of fire and flew towards the city.

The door closed itself behind Kane, leaving him alone with the android in a room empty except for the counter.

"That's usually what we do." Kane answered. "That's what people like us do. There are only one person in the world able to take us down, Ouroboros. Sparky will come obviously. If we are lucky we will possibly get Vlad too. If we got the Catalyst we could finally get rid of Ouroboros, and then the city is yours for the taking."

Rex was glad androids had no face to show emotions.
"I highly doubt that. And I have a feeling that you are actually one of the few people that would just go there without any sort of preparation or even a sliver of a plan."
From his far off position, Rex ran over some files while he continued speaking.
"And what makes you think our beared Sovjet friend will tag along. You haven't been in contact since that little meeting at that club of yours. However you've proven yourself capable to rally support.
But unless there is any form of plan or timetable, I'm afraid I cannot be of assistance. Which would there be a plan that I could agree to, I would be happy to be."
The android moved one of it's arms under the counter and brought a mobile telephone back up. It tossed it to Kane, who deftly caught the phone.
"Tell you what, as soon as there is a plan, you call me on that phone and we'll talk abour it. My number is the only one in the memory. And no funny stuff. I know phone in untraceable etc. etc. but the effort will not do the goodwill one my side any good. Any questions?"

Kane clenched his jaw and closed his eyes for a minute to crush the urge to rip the android apart. He then accepted the cellphone with a nod. "I will be in contact." he said and turned to leave.

Miasma pulled its claw out of Kane's door. "Sorry Melony, it won't morph to-" The door fell off of its hinges and broke in half as Melony threw her own shadows at it. "... Right." They walked into the apartment. Miasma put the door back into a 'I'm not broken' position, shook its head as the door fell in half, and, using some gorilla glue and Duckt tape that Kane had in the apartment, put the door mostly back together. "So I'm guessing that you'll want me to kill him when he comes?" Miasma asked Melony.
"No." She said calmly, "I'm going to have to use him to get by, aren't I? I don't dislike him enough for you to kill him, backstabbing snow that he is. Just... Let me handle it." She sat down on the couch. "Lisa, the bedroom over there is yours. Tiberius... Miasma will give you a bath soon." The dog's happy look dwindled when it heard the word bath, and he slunk away from her as stealthily as possible for a big dog like him.
Miasma waited until Melony and it were alone. "So he betrayed you?" It asked. She nodded.
Pause.
"Are you alright?" She nodded again.
Pause.
"Then I'll go give Tiberius a bath." Melony sat still as Miasma walked out of the room, leaving Melony to her thoughts. She didn't like them much, so she turned on the TV... And waited for Kane to come home.

Kane stopped as he saw his door. He eyed it up and down, watching the duct tape hold his door together, then opened it. The door fell off its hinges once more and Kane frowned as it hit the ground, but then he saw Melony and his jaw dropped slightly. He sensed another presence but didn't really care. If Melony wanted him dead she could manage to do so herself, he would never harm her physically.
"Hi Melony." he said, his voice barely more than a whisper. "I see you got the door open." he added with a corky smile.

She gave him a silent glare until he stopped smiling. "Hello Kane." She said neutrally, "I hope that you won't mind me extorting you, the dog or Lisa." She looked at the fallen door, "Or the broken door. It wouldn't open."
