Map Editor Quickness
Just thought I'd post something I discovered, it's not much.
If you make a shortcut to the Map Editor and add the name of your map at the end of whatever is in the Target field it will launch the editor with that map already loaded instead of the usual "NewMap" placeholder.
This is how the Target field should look like
"D:\Games\WOG\EDITOR.exe MAPNAME.h3m"
Editor is H3MAPED or H3WMAPED for WOG.
Note, the map in question has to be in the same folder as the EDITOR.exe though.
This isn't a breakthrough, but you can have multiple shortcuts on your desktop if you're working on several maps, which is faster than opening them up.

Damn, there's a mistake in there.
The correct pathing would be:
Originally the target field should look like this:
"D:\Games\WOG\EDITOR.exe"
Modifying it by adding the FULL path to the map would make it look like this:
"D:\Games\WOG\EDITOR.exe D:\Games\WOG\maps\MAPNAME.h3m"
With the above stuff, you could open maps quickly but you would then have to copy them from the main folder to the MAPS folder, since the Map Editor doesn't function in the maps folder no matter what you do.
The possibility to EDIT your posts would have made things much less confusing.

Open your map folder and doubleclick on one of the maps inside. It opens in the map editor by default, right? So it follows that all you have to do is right-click on one of the maps and create a shortcut to desktop. No worries about getting the correct path and filename for your shortcut this way.
