OOC: Okay what would you say to someone getting hold of all the gems with a fully trapped Unholy One? I was thinking that Gorman could enter my tent in the middle of the night to steal the Opal, however RSF has just recently summoned a familiar, an owl. He felt that an owl would keep good watch at night and would help him against such foes as Shadowcaster and other enemies of darkness.

The owl would fly down and wake up RSF when Gorman came. The two would have some sort of a meeting while the others were asleep. Gorman could reveal his intentions and inquire in RSF to help. RSF would agree to turning over the Land's Opal once he had control over the other gems however a few people were standing in their way. This would be the first secret meeting between Gorm and RSF. They would continue to have these meetings setting up a trap for MM, Asmodean, and Deimos.

I like that idea....but after viewing the LHW....I see that I am suddenly attacking someone that I'm just watching and waiting to fall asleep so this "meeting" can take place... And I would like to kindly let ppl know that Crook had no idea of my intentions. He just sits and watches the world go by and get upset over dumb things. Am I being clear? I'm trying to be, if I'm not just ask me more and I'll tell more...

You're probably right about Crook, sorry.  But it seemed like a decent idea at the time!  How else can I get in again?  Although I think Crook would notice if you suddenly took orders from the Unholy One instead of him.

He may notice and get suspicious, if he asked I'd simple tell him I'm using my plan of getting rid of that other nuisance of a god. aka. Dingo. I'm sure someone has a way of gettin u back in....just say you're wandering back from your journey to the Spine of the World and it feels good to be home or something, then start lookin for someone.

I edited my post for a better return explanation.  Crook wouldn't know Gorman was a traitor anyway.

Well it turns out that Deimos and Mvassilev are the same posters afterall. However it seems that the first posts by Mvass were under a different IP and then Deimos was under a different one. I'm guessing one of them must be the one at school and the other must be at his house or something like that...

Anyway it's finally cleared up, however I'm not sure what I should do. I think a penalty for breaking a ban from LHW is definitely a good start.

Yeah so I decided on letting Deimos stay since I would have let him back in after a few months anyway, plus he hasn't done anything to deserve a ban at least so far. However there are threads where he has two characters and that needs to be cleared up.

He escaped detection by using two computers: One for Mvass and one for Deimos.  He slipped up recently, however, and RSF caught him.

I always thought so.  Whenever Deimos posted, Mvass almost always posted immediately afterwards.  I wonder what he/they will say when he/they see this?

Nah, I didn't much care for how he posted from the time I first started in LHW.  I even told him on a number of ocasions.  Oh well, what are you going to do about it.  My only concern is the fact that he keeps trying to bring up crap from the beginning of the story like his tale of the green carpet and the whole commander Wolfman thing.  He NEEDS to keep on track and stop just jumping in like he's the hero come to save the day.  That was another Mvass Moment (hmmmm, I should copyright that saying) when he just miraciously showed up during RSF and Gorman's conversation.  According to RSF his meetings with Gorman were supposed to be secret and unknown to us.  It kind of throws off the feel of things now.
Speaking of feel, we need to regain that dark sort of feeling for the story.  When RSF first entered that little town I could just imangine what was going to happen.  RSF would gain the kings trust, join him in a fight against whatever unholy abomination threatened the town, than turn on the king and take over making sure to enslave the populace alnog the way.  Than when the Unholy One came into the picture a new turn came.  The story deepened and we found out that the world was in grave danger.  RSF didn't like this.  How could he take over a world that had been destroyed by somthing else?  In an effort to stop this oue enemy became our accomplice and new groups are forming.  Gorman has become a twisted form of his former self, RSF has showed some inteligence in the fact that he understands that there is more to just taking over the world...there will be fights along the way.  Dean has matured quite a bit since his trasformation and finally realized the extent of what is happening.  Mighty Mage has grown with his power and learned that not everything can be solved with a wave of his hand.  Vadskye has started to return to his thieving roots...I think, and the Unholy One learns more and more as the days pass.
We need to keep the same dark and serious feel of it.  I think that's what keeps it interesting.

I'm definitely relying more on my thieving skills.  About the dark feeling, I agree.  This is almost like a novel.  Still, we had a good time back at the beginning with the light feel of fighting over something as silly as Spam.  Then RSF and Shadow's past was uncovered, and it grew gloomier and yet so much more encompassing.  Deep thoughts abounded, then Shadow died and it all revolved around RSF.  When Dingo and RSF teamed up it was not a moment too soon.  We chased each other around in caves as RSF grew crazier.  Then eventually we all came out with RSF and Dingo the victor.  There were two stories running simultaniosly, Dingo's and mine.  When Shadow reappeared, it was just a matter of time before we all met up again.  Then came the Unholy One, and instead of meeting as enemies, we formed an uneasy alliance with the appearence of MM and Dean's transformation.  The war has continued ever since, and it needs a darker feel to match the events.

I liked the way it was

When I came into the story, it had gotten less chaotic than the Spam war. It had taken on a feel of something big that I wanted to be a part of. I liked the atmosphere of the posts. You could see real character development. I hope we're not going to lose that.
We won't lose it if everyone follows the rules.

You are NEVER all powerful! - How boring is it if you always kep winning. Before the crash me and Shadowcaster had a confrontation. I wrote it that we fought to a standstill, cos I didn't want to be a bore. Pity we lost that post.

READ what the previous posters have written. Don't just scan it and rush on to your next post. It just causes grief and complaints.

And this shouldn't turn into a crucifixion of Deimos/Mvass. The guy got caught and we all know the score now. Leave it to RSF  to deal with as he sees fit.
