So i did a liitle testing about the maximum of exp. points. Here are the results......and that really happened:

I´ve made a small map with one hero and one castle. Gave the hero max. exp. points (99.999.999) and as skill "Learning".

Placed 100 pandoras boxes around the castle and filled them also with max. exp. points (99.999.999).

When game started, hero was Level 59.
With every box he earned 115.000.000 points.
So he earns level per level up to lev 74. with about 1.800.000.000 exp. points. two or three boxes later, he raised with that one box up to level 88 and nearly 2.000.000.000 points. Two boxes later, his exp. points were NEGATIVE!!
(snippage)

Just a cross-reference -- in another thread[1], somebody calculates that Thorgrimm's magical resistance reaches 100% at level 78. Here we see that lvl 78 will not be easily reached in a long game, and what's worse, it's dangerously near to going negative.

===
[1] According to a site search, it was in the "Collector's Cut" thread. It appears that some malicious vandal has deleted it, so I can't confirm my memory that it was level 78.

I hope that the posts which this vandal has deleted can be restored from a backup.

..then his calculation is nonsense and i dont think someone stated that in the library.

I saw the post as well, and it really said level 78.
But i think he was talking about 100% resistance for all his units on the battlefield without any artefacts or unit specialities (like battle dwarves...)

But if so, shouldn´t it be Level 80 then?
Expert resistance gives 20%.
On level 20 Thorgrimm doubles his resistance skill to 40%
On Level 40 it raises to 60%
Level 60 = 80%
Level 80 = 100%
