a problem im having
I already asked this several times in gs, but im making a topic here cz the problem isnt fixed.
90% of maps say file is bad when i launch game, and atleast half say an unexpected error has occured when i try to look at them in map editor. Real strange, i had this problem before with 1-2 maps, now its like grown alot.None of new maps i download work, eg tron.
i got gs version, of homm,
when opponent hosts, everything works.
pls help

try using the original version instead of the ripped one

Or try reinstalling the game. Sometimes it just crashes.

dunno the sollution but I do know;
If someone hosts, his/her computer sends the map to your computer..
So, its somthing on your PC, not in the game.
Coz else the game would lock/crash when playing online
Maybe have a look at your harddisk, use a programm to test it..
