HOMM3 Invalid map???
Why can't I use the maps I found online with heroes 3? IS there a conversion download I need or do I have to have the expansion to make downloaded maps work?
Ivalid Map File Version... Grrrrr
Is there somewhere I can download what I need?

Was it I that missed the boat?
This is a RPG forum considering I found it while downloading Maps for HOMM3. FOr you to call me a dimwit because I ask for help in here shows a bit of ignorance on your part not to mention dispassion and self-righteousness... I thank you much for your help, Oh enlightened one... Someone of your superiour intellect surely has the answers I seek... I just must not be worthy... lol... Oh well... There are 3 "different" Heroes3 games:
Restoration of Erathia (The original Hereos 3)
Armageddons Blade (First addon)
Shadow of Death (Second addon)
Normaly the map tells u, if itīs a RoE, an AB, or a SoD version.
So if u only have the normal Heroes 3, u canīt play the maps which were made for one of the addons.
If u buy "Heroes Complete", u can play all maps..

I did resolve my problem FINALLY... It was a corrupt file in my WinZip... I thought I had tried everything, so I went back and started from scratch to fix it... Thank you for trying to help... You all seem pretty fun... Catch me on one of my messengers some time.... Take care!
