The Gravedigger detail: Retrieving fallen heroes

We've all heard about the little tombstones that appear on the map when a hero falls in battle and is not hustled off to an enemy prison. The following questions came to mind as I was thinking about this:

Will there be a limit to the number of these tombstones that litter the landscape?

Since multiple heroes may be in an army, does each one get his own headstone (Here lies Whizzo ... the behemoths got him) or would all heroes of the defeated army rest under one stone? (Here lies Whizzo, Flakius, and Dogspew ... 3 heroes do NOT equal lots of dragons)

Can you only drag back one hero at a time? Or can that army/hero sent out on gravedigger detail fill all available slots with fallen heroes? Do 'dead' heroes even take up a slot?

Can you only retrieve your own honored dead, or will you be able to drag off that enemy hero and slap him in your prison?

What about any artifacts the unfortune one may have been carrying? Can a live hero add them to his own backpack (and then maybe dump the poor schnook back on the map)? Hmm ..for that matter..when you come across an artifact on the map with an army with 3 heroes and 4 creature stacks and grab it...who gets it? That would be a whole diffrent thread, I guess.

I doubt we'll have real answers to any of these question for weeks yet, but speculation is always fun.
Some people say the glass is half full..Some people say it's half empty... I say "What're you asking me to drink?"

Will we be limited to Six heroes or Eight?

Will that be the limit to litter the map?

Limited to eight armies.  Armies can have multiple heroes or no heroes.  So in theory you should be able to have more than eight unless there is a rule against it.

I think when there will be 10 armys by one hero it will be cooler!!!
The only problem will be that there will be long combats, wery long combats!!!
But that is not a problem!!!

I think it would be cool if you could create maps with gravestones already on the map.  Like the goal of the map could be to retrieve the hero and resurect him.  I wonder if they will do this?

I think that the hero you rescue will probably take up a slot, but won't be in battle.  Well, maybe as a corpse.  I think being able to drop a hero on the map after you have him would be wierd, too.  But, hey, it could work.
