And I wasnt in to big of hurry since some of the other mapcouncil members have suggested deepkick be removed cause of unworthyness and lack of being played. So put that in your pipe Camel.

oh and hmm so if it is really "unworthy" wouldnt you want to get the update which might make it "worthy" up there that much faster?

but speaking of worthy.. hmm genesis.. hmm
also, didnt know games played was criteria for worthy.. deep kick has been played more than some other maps up there

Deep Kick is popular enough to stay... then again any map that is up there on the maps page right now shouldn't be removed anyways.  More choice & freedom for members to select from.

Hmm interesting concept Ves.  Remind me again what is the point in having a map council if every single map is permitted no matter what?  Just curious.

No real need for a council, just need a guy to upload them and forget the rest.

Yes Targan you are correct, but the problem is 50 of the maps were just thrown on at the start of Heroes 4 life before there was a map council.  And even some of the recent maps were added before I took over map council, and the previous map council didnt do there job.  They just approved everything.  And there are obviously some maps that shouldnt have been approved.

So thats why I got Teacher and Balcough and am trying to get the maps page cleaned up and back into order.  But if Mapcouncil has no authority to straighted out maps page, then there is no need for maps council.  There are some maps on maps page that have only ever been played 4-5 times ever, and last time it was played was 8 months ago.  Do anyone truely think it should be left on page to take up space??

For example, yes Genesis, was played alot when it first came out and now not hardly at all.  But the current map council was coming up with a system to suggest that map makers update there maps etc, to freshen them up if people lost interest in them so they could remain on page.

But I am gonna stop any and al preperations for operation maps page, since any and all maps are permitted and must remain.  Basically, I will just be the 1 man mapcoucnil/upload man.

Cause cant very well deny a players map for this or that reason when there are 24 other maps just like this dudes that we are now refusing etc.

Targan is correct here.  So Jinxer please do not threaten to quit.  The only map removed from the maps page was Maranthea's Isle.

LOL  Rob, did you read my post?  At what point did I even mention anything about me quitting?  No where did I even imply it.  I merely made referrence that there was no need for Balcough and Teacher.  I said that I would be the only person required as an upload man. Its no wonder people are always misunderstanding me, they dont read or listen to what I say.

And its pointless to put maps thru approval criteria since, there are maps on the maps page, that currently fail the new approval criteria we would be using to accept any new material.  So how can we tell Joe Shmoe that his map cannot be posted because of " this or that" when there are X amount of maps currently posted with same " this or that" that caused his map to be rejected.

I am a  " Yes "  man.  What ever you say Ves, so shall it be done.

I am more of a yes man than you Jinxer.  Whatever Melissa requests of me, I say yes.  Whenever Jinxer has an aching tooth, I say yes.  Whenever Balcough Dragons emails me (3-4 times a day) I reply.

Though whenever my gay friend asks me to go swimming at his pool, I say no.  So there are some exceptions.

Jinxer, buddy, this map's for you!  Accepting your challenge, I tried to make a map that was really different, and virtually un-hexmappable.  Check out Bizarro.  You can read about it here:

Careful what you ask for.  You just might get it.
