LVL 7 MONSTERS

Which is your Favourite?

PLEASE REMEMBER THESE ARE NOT REAL SO PEOPLE ACCOUNTS ON THESE WILL DIFFER
THESE ARE BASED ON THE H3 VERSIONS OF THESE CREATURES

Hydra
Behemoth
Angel
Red Dragon   \
Green Dragon  - (dragons go under 1 colour here)
Ghost Dragon /
Giant
Devil

BEHEMOTH
Behemoth, a spirit of the desert, possibly derives from the Egyptian for "water buffalo" or from the Egyptian deity, Taueret, about whom the Greek historian, Herodotus wrote. The term "Behemoth" in the Hebrew is the plural form of the very common "behemah" referring to a beast of use to humans or a dumb animal. It is being used here, however, as a single entity.

Behemoth rules over the domain of gluttony, and is said to be butler and high cupbearer of hell. Bodin thought he was the Egyptian Pharaoh who persecuted the Israelites. There are disagreements about his appearance throughout commentaries. Some say he appears as a whale or elephant. Others believe he is a species that no longer exists. Urbain Brandier wrote that he was definitely a demon, whereas Delancre sees him as a monstrous animal, who can disguise himself as a dog, elephant, fox, or wolf. The Book of Job describes him as a monstrous creature. Behemoth is not listed in Wierus' hierarchy of demons, though Wierus does admit that Behemoth could be Satan himself.

It is also said that in reference to Chap 40 of Job, that rabbis make him a great roast on the festival of their Messiah because he can eat as much hay as beef. They make the roast large enough so that Behemoth must gobble up the hay of a thousand mountains a day, which he has eaten since the beginning of the world. He never leaves these mountains, for if he did, time would be disrupted. The rabbis also claim that God killed the female of the species so that they could never reproduce.

ANGEL
A typically benevolent celestial being that acts as an intermediary between heaven and earth, especially in Christianity, Judaism, Islam, and Zoroastrianism.
A representation of such a being, especially in Christianity, conventionally in the image of a human figure with a halo and wings.
They are the last of the nine orders of angels in medieval angelology. From the highest to the lowest in rank, the orders are: seraphim, cherubim, thrones, dominations or dominions, virtues, powers, principalities, archangels, and angels.
They are pure spirits, the closest image and likeness of the Creator, were the effect of a divine act of creation.
Angels are "sons of God," living witnesses of the creation of the material universe, were our Angels, began with time and was created by God.
In the Scriptures of the Old Testament, the most frequently used name to designate the Angles is mal'akh, which means, messenger or legate.

HYDRA
The Hydra which lived in the swamps near to the ancient city of Lerna in Argolis, was a terrifying monster which like the Nemean lion was the offspring of Echidna (half maiden - half serpent), and Typhon (had 100 heads), other versions think that the Hydra was the offspring of Styx and the Titan Pallas. The Hydra had the body of a serpent and many heads (the number of heads deviates from five up to one hundred there are many versions but generally nine is accepted as standard), of which one could never be harmed by any weapon, and if any of the other heads were severed another would grow in its place (in some versions two would grow). Also the stench from the Hydra's breath was enough to kill man or beast (in other versions it was a deadly venom). When it emerged from the swamp it would attack herds of cattle and local villagers, devouring them with its numerous heads. It totally terrorized the vicinity for many years.
He is a unit of Greek Mythology, an evil entity that is often associated with Hercules.

-----The Hydra is a Greek Mythologic beast-----

GIANT
Titans are similar to celarti, in that their origins stem from an opposing race, in this case the original giants. Titans are every bit as tall as giants (about ten feet in height) are generally a little less heavy (450 lbs.) and have slightly lighter complexion than giants. Most consider Titans and giants to be identical in as much as one family of giants is the same/different than another. However, Titans, prefer to avoid massive coarse beards and long hair, and in fact many Titans prefer to be entirely bald.
Because they are strong willed, they have an innate resistance to psionicists and mages. Like elves, they are amongst the few immortal races of the Inferno. No Titan is ever known to have died of old age. Titans and giants are the only races that can wield a two-handed weapon and a one-handed weapon at the same time. They have an innate resistance to most poisons and diseases as well as the effects of weather. Due to their great size, Titans can withstand more physical punishment than any other race. While they move slower than any other race than the aggernen, their great strength makes up for a lack of speed.
Titans can also be said to originate from Greek Mythology. The Titans, also known as the elder gods, ruled the earth before the Olympians overthrew them. The ruler of the Titans was Cronus who was de-throned by his son Zeus. Most of the Titans fought with Cronus against Zeus and were punished by being banished to Tartarus. During their rule the Titans were associated with the various planets. (happy?)

----The Giant is a huge humanoid beast-----

DEVIL
The name commonly given to the fallen angels, who are also known as demons. With the article it denotes Lucifer, their chief, as in Matthew 25:41, "the Devil and his angels". It may be said of this name, as St. Gregory says of the word angel, "nomen est officii, non naturea (the a and e joined here, i dunno how to do that )"--the designation of an office, not of a nature. For the Greek word (from diaballein, "to traduce") means a slanderer, or accuser, and in this sense it is applied to him of whom it is written "the accuser [ho kategoros] of our brethren is cast forth, who accused them before our God day and night" (Apocalypse 12:10). It thus answers to the Hebrew name Satan which signifies an adversary, or an accuser.

DRAGON
In the Middle Ages there were many imaginary beasts.  Two of which were the dragon and the griffin.  The dragon was an imaginary beast.  It looked like a crocodile with wings, huge razor sharp claws, and it could breath fire .  In the Medieval period the dragon stood for death and sin.  In the Middle Ages the dragon was the most feared beast.
The dragon's strength is found in its tail, not in its teeth. Its lashing tail does great harm, and the dragon kills anything it catches in its coils. The dragon is the enemy of the elephant , and hides near paths where elephants walk so that it can catch them with its tail and kill them by suffocation . It is because of the threat of the dragon that elephants give birth in the water. The dragon's venom is harmless. The dragon has a crest and a small mouth. When the dragon is drawn from its hole into the air, it stirs up the air and makes it shine. Dragons are found in India and Ethiopia, according to some dude.

Red and Black dragons are generally evil, hoarding beasts. They hoard large amounts of treasure, which sticks to their soft underbelly. This is a survival technique, as their only weak spot is thier belly, which is the main target for spear weilding knights. The gold and treasure protects him. Now most Black dragons do this, as the ones who do not have mostly died out, leaving only hoarders by natural selection.

Gold and Green dragons are australian olympic fans. just kidding! They are mystical beasts that generally live near forests. They use magic and might for their own good, and for the help of thier allies and friends.

Ghost and bone dragons are rare and little known creatures. They are reincarnated dragons which have been betrayed with wicked magic. They then are mostly raised from the dead by necromancers and liches to aid them in battle. Very formidable opponents. They vary form bone to Ghost, depending on the summoning/raising spell.

I think the Hydras and Angels look the best.

I wonder, why didn't you say anything about Titans and their connection with Ancient Greek Mythology?

thats a pretty good point, but if you CAN wear metal armour, then why not because at some point or another, you will come into close combat and it will come in handy

and no, its not off topic. what you had for breakfast, is off topic; but discussing the Titans armour strategies in a topic made for discussing him, is not.

Er, maybe because large metal objects tend to act as a conduit for electricity.

Are Titans immune to electrical attack?????

Furthermore, do the bolts come from within?
Or do you get the feeling they are plucking them from the sky, then hurling them???

It was really just an observation.

Lightning + metal = extra crispy

Haven't you seen Back to the Future????

Looks like 1.21 gigowatts to me.

If titans can hold the lightning bolt with their hands in the first place, then what can possibly be so bad if they accidentally get hit?

Dragons! I mean, when you throw lightning at your lunch, it's always extra crispy, but when you breathe fire you can have it as rare or as well done as you want. And you can't beat magic immunity.

Hydras are pretty amazing, too - they look cool in just about any mythology or game you ever see them in. They don't get quite as much attention as dragons, too, so not only do they still have their novelty, they have a little uniqueness too.
