Berserk.. A contraversial animated film.
I must first add this beautiful set of episodes dose not get enough recognition. It was played on air but is one of the most contraversial animations to ever be played.
The box set is in ebay for under 30 dollars, and its a piece of animation i highly reccomend you check out from atleast the movie lenders.

Berserk is the story of a young swordsman named Guts (Gatts, Gattsu, Gats, Gutz... Miura uses Guts so that's what I'll use) and his journey towards something that will change his life and all those around him forever. The very first episode introduces us to an extremely PISSED and insane Guts, who is on the path for revenge, but as the story progresses we are shown the flashback of Guts's past and what led him to become the Black Swordsman.
The story is filled with the most amazing cast of extremely realistic characters, each with their own flaws, hopes, dreams, and ideals. Guts eventually joins the Band of the Hawk, a legendary army of bandits and mercenaries that will attempt to reach for the heavens with Guts as their right hand. The series is the telling of their ascension towards the one goal that their leader Griffith has seen, to rule absolutely and attain his own kingdom. The band of the hawk also introduces us to Judeau, Pippin, Rickert, Corkus, and most importantly for Guts, Caska.
a dvd of ideas well known to few, and rarely put before mortal eyes
This is a good time to watch for holloween i guess..

Hi so some new DVDs have come out. How much content goes beyond the sacrifice where Griffin changes? I have YouTube the golden arc and from what I've seen I feel the original is better. But if the golden arc goes post sacrifice then it's a give, I have to grab it.

What a coincidence!! New digital content was just announced to come out in 2016.
Id share a link but I am browsing on my playstation. No copy paste.
But the comics are good, still I prefer dvds. I hope that elf pixe thing comes to film. If the comics are cheap I will buy.

Manga is simply superior, the art is great. The original anime adaptation had crappy art on top of being dumbed down and prematurely cut but the new films were enjoyable. Some unfortunate music choices and CGI at parts but animation was great.

Original serie was good (tough horrible end)

Meh they cut some good stuff. And that happy intro.. gah. Can't be compared with the manga.
Also compare the 100 men battle in original and in the recent films. Again no comparison.

I have always wondered what is that nightmare armour what Guts is wearing. Made my patfinder game character based on that potrait.
There is online Berserker manga out there, maybe i should give it a try.

The ending of the animated series is called: "read the manga".
It's the cruelest cliffhanger in every movie/show/animation I have ever seen.
I didn't really enjoy the arc that comes afterwards much, but the arcs after that are cool again.

So I've looked up the comics and it's close to 500 for the whole set. 37 books... I might grab a few post eclipse but in the mean time I actually found something digital with a lot of post eclipse story line.
It probably won't appease many, at least as satisfactorily as it has myself, but I wanted to share this what seems to be what some would consider a rare treasure. Since unfortunately the video game is not widely available to Anglo speaking.. If at all.
(typing on phone, way watching on PS4... Link would be tricky..)
YouTube search Berserk millennium falcon ~ the movie if you have interest in some post sacrifice story. Puck included.

Hmm it doesn't seem accurate to the comics but Idk I just want to watch something after eclipse dang it!! Sorry for triple reply. I don't have my PC set up.
