I'm not a big movie junkie, so I have average tastes overall. As for music, R.E.M. is a growing favorite of mine at the moment. Listen to their stuff to know what I mean; they have a career pushing 20 years!

About to sleep now. I'm following Hawaii time; dunno where you are.
I recommend you find another online buddy since I've got piles of college work to do tomorrow and also because it'd be no fun playing me for just easy wins. Surely a person of your stature and abilities would desire better for your time? And of course you can have some more fun with your pal Gelu.

As for music and movies that I like you could click on my personal page. It's at the bottom of my posts, the PP link. This discussion has gone slightly off topic though. It's hard to always stay on topic, but there should mainly be stuff about heroes 3 in this forum. Music discussions etc should either be in the Tavern, Other Side or the Volcanic Wastelands forum, depending on how the post is formed. The tavern and other side forums are a little harder to see the differences between, but it's not the end of the world if a post accidentally slips into the wrong one there.
About the signature, the easiest would probably be to just shorten it some. Like name just the top dj's you like, or any aliases you go under. Or a ranking. djwest > DJ Grandmaster Flash > the rest (geez, it really shows how little time I put into that  )
Did you play anything more on the third Gelu map? If so, how did it go?

about the signature, you got me all wrong man. im wanting to make all the musician names visible to other people who glance at my signature, i guess it's impossible though, well it ain't vital anyway

Sure, would be fun. Haven't played over the net yet with heroes 3 so not sure if any firewall would block it or not, will check so that's not an issue before we play. I can't play today though, and tomorrow I will hear how my work schedule will look like so maybe can't play during the week either due to different time zones. But one of next friday/saturday/sunday will work.

back to the mission-
i killed urleftin, and c9onquered the castle that is located just below mine, its called serenity or whatever. it has upgraded dragon cliffs. so if the computer gives me a 2 weeks break or a month ill be able to gather a huge army and win, if not ivll lose
edit : ok im gonna find cheats, im sick of this level, i cant beat it

Nooo, cheats are wrong! As with any game it makes you lose interest faster because the challenge of a game is one of the major things why they last long.
Try to just play faster, and recruit the maximum number of elves that you can and give them to Gelu so he can upgrade them to sharpshooters. With the south castle and the castle a bit southwest of your starting town, plus the two elf buildings out in the open where you can recruit 7 per week you will have enough sharpshooters to clear the map after two weeks. The rest of the army should be all the dragons you can get, plus maybe some other fodder to protect your sharpshooters. While dendroids and dwarfs has good hp for their level, they are not really necessary in this campaign and they really slow you down on the adventure map. Your hero will adjust his movement some according to the slowest unit in your army. If going with other troops too I would mainly buy the unicorns, then the large amount of centaurs and then the pegasi if you have the cash.
Yeah I'm starting work tomorrow and won't have time before friday. Will check if I see you then.

I'm sick of disappointing you guys, i wish i could **** this level but its too snowing hard, i'll try again later..you guys are trying to help me all the time and i keep losing, i dont want to give up but most of my strategies just dont work, i tried to quicky gather an army, clear the area, conquer the ponds and attack ultifor, and it worked, i won him, i even conquered the castle that's located south to mine, and it has like gold dragons, but they got a lot of heroes and the battle after ultifer weakens me a lot, so i'm really vulnerable. furthermore, i simply can't efford 2 green dragons+1 gold dragon+a lot of sharpshooters, it's a lot of money.
and they always rape my sharpshooters..its annoying, one attack paralyzes the shooters( the enemy dragons always attack them first) so yea it gives me some kind of advantage because i can kill their dragons with the units that surround them but it snows my powerful range attackers, and yeah i didnt forget the splittin hommie.
let me summarize it:
the caslte to my south = easy to get
the southwest castle = maybe easy, but i dont want to take the chance, i mean, they got like 2-3 heroes that hang around there. i rather not push my luck.
by the way, i haven't came across any elves buildings..you mean buildings that allow me to recruit elves? i didnt see, only dwarves & centaures, at least in the area of my main castle, im pretty sure i didnt miss anything.
for real man we'll hit it on friday or something.

I mixed it up some, the 2 elf buildings are on the next one. There's only 1 elf building on this map, but it's almost up in the Northwest corner so the computer owns it. To have enough elves on this one you kinda need both the south city and the one a bit to the southwest (about middle of map).
Resurrection was the thing that really made this a breeze for me, I guess it wasn't in your map though or met resource problems so couldn't build a high enough mage guild. It's a level 4 spell and the effect is permanent if you have advanced or expert earth magic, which you did have.
I'll check on friday then and will send an IM when I see you.

ok ive finally beaten this scenario..
now im stuck in the last mission, i've found vial of whatever and conquered all the enemy castles, but didnt win (????????????)

From the earlier campaigns you will have two rings that give your units +1 life. In the last campaign you trade the titans gladius and the sentinels shield to get the lifeblood, and if you have all 3 life giving artifacts on you it will ask if you want to combine them into the vial of lifeblood combo artifact and when you do you win the campaign. My guess is that you have sold one of the rings on the altar for exp (I almost did that myself), or have traded a ring to another hero, so you will need to load an older save where you still have it if it's gone. If you still have them all, just give all the pieces to Gelu and it should ask if you want to combine them.

Since two out of three campaigns you can choose from right now in SoD are with barbarians I think you should start the Festival of Life campaign in AB to warm up some. I haven't tried that one beyond the first level myself so atm I won't be able to help with anything if you get stuck, but I think it should go fairly well. If you find it too easy, load the save from after you win the Gelu campaign and choose the Birth of a Barbarian campaign. You can always switch between those two now and then for a little bit of variation since you will be playing on different saves.
Seems we missed each other today, will have to postpone the playing it seems. I have three extremely busy weeks coming up and very much doubt I will even play single player during my daytime until february the 14th. Hopefully you can find someone else to play with until then.
