Heroes of Might and Magic I
i need some HELP!!!!!!!!!!!! i cant find the genius game of Heroes of Might and Magic I, can any1 help me i NEED that game !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

there are many places where you can download... search for abandonware... and you will find it... but... I have some problems to play that game on my PC... the sound didn't work and my pc didn't respond...

The best way to get it is probably by buying the platinum edition with all HOMM except HOMM IV...
Also, you can get practically anything off of ebay...

This would be my advice as well; this is how I got it (Platinum Edition)...

yeap... I don't have sound... this game uses a very old sound system not compatible with all cards... just with the old ones...

the only problem is that its not abandonware, its full fledged software because its being sold, so basicaly your getting warez

Well the heroes 1 Music it's like the heroes 2 have a cd track format... I mean you put it in your discman y you can hear it... but the effects and the other things didn't work on my PC... I don't know about the new version of Heroes 1, I have the oldest one, I have a version with heroes 1 and heroes 2 with the expasion...

Actually Heroes 1 is not being made anymore. If there are still copies in store those are the last ones so doesn't that make it abandoned?

You can still buy it, as said above, with Platinum Edition.

Today i could finally make my HOMM work. It turned out that i needed a program called VDMS which is also downloadable at abandonia.com.
but after 30 minutes of playing the game, i switched to HOMM2
