Heroes V in 2006?
Since I couldn't open "Heroes news" topic for some reason, here's another thread.
As some of you already know:
"Today Ubi Soft announced its product catalog for fiscal year 2005-2006 (ending March 31, 2006), including a new chapter Brothers in Arms, Prince if Persia 3, two new games in the Might & Magic brand (supposedly both strategy games) and more."

Personally, although I'm no expert, I don't think we will see Heroes V before 2006. However, at least we know Ubi is working on it!
Could the other game be Heroes Online?

This from a Ubisoft press release today:
The quarter will see the Splinter Cell series debut on the PSP and Heroes of Might and Magic 5 released for the PC along with a "Product with [the] Might and Magic brand." The two games will be the first Might and Magic titles released since Ubisoft bought the rights to the venerable role-playing franchise from a bankrupt 3DO in 2003.

I saw somewhere that H5 was scheduled for release in "Winter 2006" and somewhere else that it was set for "1st quarter 2006." Since by first quarter they seem to mean the calendar year I would say that (unless release is delayed) the game will be out by May. If closed beta starts in mid-September, open beta might be about December-ish, the game could be out towards late February / early March.
