town names
hey, i noticed that both rampart and stronghold have a town name called strongglen. in a recent game i had town portal and expert earth, but i couldn't tell which town i would be going to since they had the same names. do towns appear in the town portal list in a particular order, e.g. which one you took over first, or is it random or something? my first guess took me to the wrong town, but luckily spell points were not an issue.
also i was wondering what some of your favorite town names are. coldshadow of dungeon is obviously my favorite one, but i also like deepshadow, blight, grave raven, worm warren, death's gate, evernight, and daemon gate.

Q2: my fav town name is "equinox" which is a town name of the tower, the names of the dungeons are good too

They appear in the same order as they have been placed on the map by the mapmaker (or the comp when it was a random).
Means, your starting town will be first on the list, except u have an ally or conquered the starting town of another player who has a color which is ranked higher in the given color order (color-order: red, blue, tan, gren......), so their starting town would be placed above yours.
If there would be 8 towns and 4 players on a map, and u would have conquered all towns, the townlist would look like this:
1. starting town of red
2. starting town of blue
3. starting town of tan
4. starting town of green
5....

I renamed Ramparts Strongglen Golden Woods, avoids the confusion.

Maybe for town names it is one of the rare things where I like Conflux most (e.g. Electrising, Ceald, Vluchton, Froisan). Rampart has good names too (Bath'iere, Ceiliedgh).

Gateway (castle) - so sweet to town portal to gateway. Feels good in the brain.
Fortune Keep (rampart)
Serenity (rampart)
Manufactury (tower)
Tirith (tower) - minas tirith!
Valtara (tower)
Agony (necro)
Death's Gate (necro)
Shadow keep (necro)
Malev (dungeon) - means "army" in my language
Scar (dungeon) - lion king
Shadowden (dungeon) - "hm i wonder which one was the dungeon, oh right" (solves the pre-hd patch era problem of not knowing what town is what)
Slau (stronghold)
Edgewater (fortress)
Elementon (conflux) - very confluxy
Lanting (conflux) - keep getting this town in every game
