The answer to the question is:

The Tower magic mines.

Test it and ull see some strange results!

...this also explains the sense of the question which is important to the game: When do they work, and when not?

But your oponent has lvl 20 solmyr also from prison with 10/10/15/15 stats, exp air and 6 stacks of 1 serpent fly nad he gives his scout a summon air elemental spell.

Dosent really matter as long as all the flies are killed. If one retreats they can both be bought in tavern, if one is killed they will both be gone.

How much maximum damage does the "Cover of Darkness" do..

a) to an Archangel with Tazar?

Come on guys, just stop to spam this thread with your "funny" stuff. You are the ones who make the quality of the library going down, by changing every "serious" try to improve activity of the library into a kiddy-contest.

...as there comes no ideas for an answer of this question ... and as angelito and a "wanabee-questioner in good threads aka tigris" think this question was nothing but a toss, i gonna answer it for the few that are interested.

Answer:

Every building u built in your town ...except the creature dwelling upgrades or mage guild upgrades ....increase the damage of the town defending shooters.

The middle archers increase by about 3 hitpoints and the upper and lower shooters by about 1,5 hitpoints. Those damages are independed on which towntype u have.. the archers, wizards, gogs etc... all the same damage.

As there is a small glitch in the h3 numbers it is possible to make 7 hitpoints damage.

Additional to that it is good to know that ..no matter what ...the damage will always be the same ...there is no difference between creatures, secondary skill, primary skills etc.... the damage will always be that high no matter what...

...with only two exceptions:

1. Defense specialists take double damage
2. Creatures with the spell airshield on take doulbe damage.

So considering all this ..the answer is as follows..

a) The Archangels take about 12-14 damage.(..well 250 in the end, of course)

b) The skeleton take 6 damage.

Not interesting? Not important?

Well most players dont know this fact. So when they sit in their town trying to defend, they often build nothin the day before, cause they think "its useless anyway".

The fact is that even your shipyard or recoursesilo does increase your townshooters damage.

How can u know how far your opponent town is approximately away from u, if u play a random on day one, even without scouting, spells or buildings?

Aint it the fun of randoms NOT knowing such things as enemy locations? Anyway, i guess the comp creates similiar maps and after a while you can tell if the new map may have the same structure as the one you played before...

the comp (RMG) generates the template you have set it to generate. There are lots of thread if you wanna catch up a bit on this.

Everytime u play a random, the random generator generates a number. U can find this number in the map description. The last number tells u how far your opponent is actually away.

Additionally to this u can find out if someone changed the template to his favor. Thats maybe why i didnt play the BGs.

Have fun while u can Xarfax1

Xarfax

could you explain a bit more how this works?
I'm guessing the number you refer to is the seed as the other numbers represent the map size and the random options(number of players, water, monsters strength etc).

I always wondered what this seed number was about.I'm particulary interested in how does this number tells you if a player has modified the rmg file.
