Everyday Tactics
this is a thread to share and discuss everyday tactics.
such tactics might be to get home at a certain time from work as to let ur wife/husband be into thier favourite tv as to not complain or do something to make ur life that much more easier.
just tell us little tactics help u get through the day.
here are a few of mine
1)this usually gives me a laugh. when i wake up in the morning early i go into my sisters room and grab one of her horses with black hair. i put pillows in my bed to represent me and i use the horse as my hair. my dad then might peek in my bed and see this then think i am sleeping. if he doesnt see me while i go back into my room then i have about an hou or so to myself.
2)another one on my dad is to have a book next to me when playing the computer. when he approaches i turn off the monitor and start reading. seeing this he leaves me alone.
3)when playing games with long loading times often, my case in CM 03/04, i get my novel and read it. i red a an entire series of books using this one.
4) on really cold nights i wear shirt that is a few sizes to big for and a long sleeve shirt ontop. also wear long socks. i tuck in the shirt that is too big for me into my pants and i tuck my pants into my socks. keeps me warm till the break of day.
so what are ur everyday tactics?

these were somethings i did when i was a kid
1)im a really lazy person, and when im feeling really lazy i dont button up any of the buttons on my shirt, i just wear a jacket over it
2)im not alowed to eat in my room, so i always make a clearing surrounded by objects, and when someone comes in i just hide the food there
3)i turn off the lights and close the door at night so people think im sleeping(which i am not)
4)when im told to throw something out i just hide it soemwhere else
5)when i cant sleep i pretend im driving on a long straigth road for a while, then i fall into a microsleep (beware dangerous to practice on a realife road)
6)someone comes in while im reading so i pretend to be asleep so they leave me alone (i read on my bed)
edit:
7)oh yeah i nearly forgot my favourite one, when i need something thats not good signed, (late note etc) i just wake my parents up early in the morning so they're too tired to bother reading it and they just sign it. (most ingenius one i came up with)

A several years ago, I was on vacation and my sister still had to go to school. Since I'd stay up late on the computer, I knew I'd end up waking up late the next day and miss quite a few light hours. So one night I got some long string and tied one end to my sister's backpack and the other end to my leg. When she had to go the next morning, I felt her trying to get the string off her backpack and therefore I'd wake up. So then I was free to do what I wanted as well as nap when I felt like it.

when i snap a pencil in half (or almost half) i dont throw it out, i just tape it back together again (i know im cheap)
i'm too lazy to gel my hair so i just wet it in the morning to give the illusion of gel

Strategy no. 2: Ask her to wake you up. Try this sometime; it realy works.

Are you kidding me? My sister and I are rarely on friendly terms. Knowing her, she wouldn't care if I slept on and on until real late in the day. Besides, I respond better to something physically tangible than by a noise when it comes to getting up.

Some of my tactis to live a little better are the following:
1) Tell the truth, always (there are little exceptions) to avoid problems. If you cannot it's better, if possible to avoid the argument...
2) Be responsible of your actions completely (and don't blame yourself of consequences!). For example: there are some days you don't want to study. If you can afford not to study a day, take the holidays! (you'll not die! I assure) Tomorrow you'll put your head on books with more attention and relax! (NB you cannot study three days a week!
