I would kindly ask you to please stop insulting developers. If you have proof that they are in fact lazy go ahead and share it with us. But if you don't have such proof, and I bet you don't, you are just making a fool out of yourself. You should know that everyone has a life and sometimes other things besides WoG take higher priority. And even if somebody just decides to quit working on WoG it's their right to do so. They don't get paid for it and they didn't give an oath to work on WoG forever and ever.

I didn't mean to insult, I am just meaning what is the big idea of making something this cool and then when it's almost finished, leave the project. I don't mean to instult anyone... I am just plain angry about it, so sry for anyone who thought I insulted them...

I'm 100% sure they didn't start the project with the idea to abandon it halfway through. And I guess they are at least as angry as you are because they had to abandon all the things they worked on.
P.S. I'm not attacking you. I'm trying to defend people who spent time doing something for the community (even if they didn't finish it).

Nobody in particular. I guess that just became the general consensus after a year of... nothing.

That is because, majority of these modders and scripters are now full fledge programmers with a real career in one of many software companies within Russian or even U.S. borders. Some, even went south of border of Russia and, into China for developing HoMM-Online(available in China and neighboring bushin countries). Russian, American and, European developers have hired the rest of these modders/scripters to work as programmers(paid for it) for HoMM(5)-Kingdoms(online free as of May of this year).
Since 2006/2007, their teams have radically changed in numbers, restructured themselves and renewed their will towards fully rejuvinate the whole HoMM franchise. Especially Nival. Ubisoft keeps enlarging itself further outbound of Europe.
Here is an example: when I bought my version of HoMM5 v1.0, it was entirely American made(Californian). When I got my first expansion of Hammers of Fate-HoMM5 v.2.0, it was entirely American as well. The same exact thing with HoMM5-Tribes of the East's completely Stand-Alone product. It even states on the back of the box that it is fully Made in U.S.A..
You people, wanted a full update of what is going on since 2004 and beyond to today, March 2008. Well, now, you fully have it.

i'm not saying it looks bad, i'm just saying that to me it looks a little out of place, and i understand that people are trying to rejuvenate the game, but i'm just saying that unless people were to remake every building to such fine detail that the building sticks out like a sore thumb.

This is borderline spam, and sorry for that, but I can't help but wonder what relevance at all that post has to yours or the topic in general.

first off how is it considered spam when i express a negative opinion about something, but not when everyone who says "OH I LOVE IT!!!" i have a right to an opinion. and if you want to talk about getting off topic take a look at most of these new town projects and all you'll see is people just saying "How pretty" or NOOBS asking when or where they can download a town project when anyone with any basic wog know-how could tell you there are no playable towns at the moment. and to be honest about everything i think the bastion town is inferior in every way to Darkloke's grove town. at least he doesn't just shrink down the buildings from his in town views and just plop them on the map like it looks in the bastion one.
