New storyline for Mod Squad HQ?
Everytime when members click on Mod Squad they see the same old boring story about Hexa. Here it is..
You come across a solid looking building surrounded with a brick wall, wondering what the turban tribunal business is all about. As you approach the gate you see Hexa walking out of it with a bag of donuts. Before you can catch a glimpse of what goes on behind the gate Hexa has already slammed it shut. You start walking towards Hexa. Hexa notices you and suddenly runs off before you can say anything. As you come closer to the gates you see a sign that says: Official Mod Squad Headquarters. Nothing to see here, move along.
Why don't we develop new stories about other mods and our admin? I'm sure that would be interesting. Besides, I've seen that story for years. Yes. YEARS !!
I have an idea. Why don't we have storylines for all mods and admin and set it to random? Everytime a member clicks on Mod squad it will be a different story.
Some of my ideas for storylines:
You and some friends come to this building that is inaccessible to most people. As you approach you see Djive walking out of the gates. He sees you and your friends and runs back inside, screaming and shouting along the way. You wonder if it is an asylum for mad people. As you stand in front of the gates you see these words made of pure silver: Offical Mod Squad Headquarters. Nothing to see here, move along.
From far away, the silent, dark, grey building looks errie. As you move closer to it, you see the front gate sliding open and Valeriy chewing on a donut. Then you run excitedly towards the gate. The gate closes and is locked with a key. 'Please... let me take a peek... please?' You asked kindly. 'This is the Offical Mod Squad Headquarters. Nothing to see here, now move along.'
A box sits silently outside this silver building. Curious, you open it, only to find out that these are ashes of burnt paper. Burnt documents? Confidential stuff? You knock on the door, and someone greets you. 'What can I do for you? This place is off limits.' Between the row of bars on the gate you see a face that looks like Pandora's. 'Pandora, is this your box?' You ask politely. 'No, it's Pandora box.' And slams the door shut. As you prepare to leave with the box, you see a sign painted in red: Offical Mod Squad Headquarters. Nothing to see here, move along.
Of course, HC could come up with their own stories, they don have to adapt mine.
One more thing. val will u consider giving the power of deleting threads back to us? Say certain rules must apply: 1) the thread must have been around for 3 days or more. 2) the thread must have less than 10 replies 3) the thread must not be rated important/funny/interesting... etc..
I didnt know that members have even lost the right to delete threads! But anyway, I believe with some rules in mind threads can/should be deleted by members if they so desire. Mods are not around 24/7, especially mods of that particular forum.

Members deleting their own threads had become a problem. Especially in cases where even Quality posts were lost by the Thread starter removing the whole thing.
It is best to have this left to the moderators, just to ensure that we don't have the problems arise again. Even if you cannot find the moderator of the correct forum - you can IM any of us to bring the issue to modsquad where we can still try to help.
Thread ratings really don't help in this regard, because for one thing - quite often they are changed by 5 star members who are feeling silly 
Your new mod-squad stories were cute btw

Haha soccerfeva i like the mod story idea.
Too bad RMS isnt a mod anymore though, i could see something like
The smell of cheese attracts you to this place you have never seen before. It looked slightly important, you went up to the door and knocked, and RMS answered. You could not tell his true identity due to the fact that his face kept shifting form. Before you can speak he slams the door. You walk away and see a sign saying "Official mod squad headquaters, nothing to see here"

Actually the story for Djive was not appropriate as I've always seen Djive act rationally and not madly. Anyway if anybody has any ideas feel free to post them here.
