Plastic or Paper?
I'm wondering, are the card made out of a plastic or paper? or is it paper with platic coating? or 100% plastic?

i dont know about what its gonna be but i hope its 100% plastic, they're harder to rip and easier to throw.
but on the other hand i like the lightness and more friction like surfacing of paper, making it less slidy when i put cards down on a table.

I would still recommend to anyone that they use deck protectors with some kind of solid backing, at least for your play deck. Over time any type of card will fade or get nicks on the corners. You want to protect your collection and you don't want to be accused of being able to tell what your next card will be because you can see the nick in the corner.
I picked up some Dragon artwork covers pretty cheap at Gencon and they work nicely. They also help to uniquely identify your cards from your opponent's during cleanup time (provided you don't all buy the same color/style deck protectors).

i dont like the card protectors, the corners are too sharp amd they increase the weight of the cards, but i guess they do stop ur cards from ripping

The card stock is great! They're a tiny bit stiffer than MtG cards which may be due to the coating (plastic or a UV type of thing I'm not sure).

I'd recommend sleeves to the point that it might be required. You can put items (artifacts, towns, locations) down on the board, but they aren't always going to be yours. So someone takes the Artifact you put down on the board, but didn't collect because it was guarded by high-level creatures. Now it's under their hero.
When the game's over you can either go through the cards and ask each other how many of these you put in, how many do you have now. (I thought I put more of these in. Can I not remember or does he have my card? Is it innocent or is he stealing it) Yeah, sounds like fun. Or you can just put your deck in sleeves and sort them by the color of the backs later.
