Alright... That's It...
Now listen up HC... I wanna know where the love is...
I wanna know what happened to the good old times when I would miss a day of checking out the community and there would be so many new posts that I would be completely lost in what the latest chat was? What about all the memorable threads where people would just talk nonsense just for the fun of it? Or all the deep and insightful discussions that once inhabited this community?
Where's your feedback? Where's the love, you know?
Is this place dieing?
"Have some ale, tell us your story"... oh ya? Well here's my story... what are you gonna do about it? Not much of a story I know, but it beats the heck out of saying nothing...

No, the posting rate hit rock bottom in early August. As far as I can tell, it's picking up a bit.

There's always slow periods. There are people here who go to school, and in school and such, you always have times when things are busier than at other times. These kinds of things.

That's true for sure...
There was a long period where I hadn't been on the community so I wasn't even aware of the slow August...
My guess is that Heroes 5 is what's going to get things fired up again... of course it'll also bring us back to square one of telling newcomers to read the rules first and so on...

Given that it's currently a Downhill Time for me, I'll try to post more often. HC has been helpful as a therapeutic escape during rough times, so don't expect me to disappear from the fold too soon.
By the way, Rage's music tavern ain't a bad place.

Dude I wish you would have been around mid july when each forum's top 5 were last posted by Jebus!!
I use to make a game with myself and see if I could cover the VW page before someone would reply...
.... it was quite lonely.
i have however noticed even some times of the day it can be dead....

Ahh yes... people who can relate...
I can say there isn't many better things than when you feel a certain way and people can relate to how you feel, you know?
It kind of takes a load off you to know others see eye to eye with you.
Thanks Guitarguy for the Music Tavern comment... it seems as though you're my only customer... maybe when I get new music up things will start heading in a better direction... and I'll try to remember to post something in your downhill thread, because it really is a good thread...
Anyways, you guys are the kind of people I would associate with in real life I think... having opinions and not afraid to show how you feel...
Another person that probably belongs on this thread would be Consis... he appears to be a pretty caring guy.
What was the word again Jebus? Now I can't figure it out....

It's funny how perception of a person can be affected..
(actually I think I have a thread on this )
....(oh wait I have 2 of them!!
check out my "what online means to jebus" in other side...)
I won't get into it all but i find it ironic how 2 people with entirely different views can clash online but in person can be the best of friends.
As an example, don't get me and Conan, in a conversation about religion (been there thanks) and expect that we won't leave fumming. But we get along great in RL (or at least i believe we do). Look at me and Consis, who have entirely different views here on HC and due to that(and of course our styles in general) tend to chat it up less than I do with others. For all I know, in RL, we could get along great (we could just never talk politics or war cuz we'd kill each other!! ).
I take folks like Lee, Pan, Terje, and Guitar Guy that I'd love to get to know in person but for all I know we could be nothing alike and not get along.
