Watched the final. Ended as suspected.
Was disappointed at the game itself. Was expecting a good game, great even. Got lousy. I quess that's NHL hockey for you.

USA beat Canada 5-4 on overtime. Some of the canucs lacked the motivation to play properly and some americans did horrible mistakes but overall, it was a very good game, especially from USA.

Classical mistakes from Finland, turned completely passive in the second period, started making marking mistakes in their own end due to increased stress on defenders, canada did the goals as expected.
Third period was good at times but the goals just didn't come, bit of bad luck with the poleshots and the canadians got their head together and what could have been 5-4 ended 3-5.
Disappointed in the performance in the second period. That was a tactical mistake I would not have expected from Jalonen anymore, he didn't do it last year, what changed now?

Do not worry! I guess Finland vs Czech Republic, and easy to medal. Coach, I do not go to say anymore, because the Russian coach would have coached in 1997, so I thought a bad coach, but the 5 victory came. Also, I thought Datsyuk-Malkin, and Kuznetsov-Tarasenko is the best couple of the chain.
EDIT: sorry, coach was Igor Dimitriyev, Old ice hockey magazine's own according.

Not Finland vs Czech Republic. Perhaps the U.S. or Slovakia semi-finals. I make mistakes Block A vs Block B. Sadly Finland vs Russia. Finland does not want the team came to a sad and played in the loss to the U.S. because someone is ignorant of the HC.

RUS - NOR
SWE - CZE
CAN - SVK
USA - FIN
What's your vote?
I vote
RUS, no brainer, NOR is screwed
SWE, CZE hasn't shown strenght this time
CAN, Besides of winning USA, SVK has been weak
and hopefully FIN after a tight match, if they can get their snow together that is, USA wasn't on their level today against SUI but if they are and FIN find something to break into USA area, it's going to be a great match
