HC Gamers Club
I've been trying to get something like this going for a while, but basically I think it would be cool to get organized so the people at HC can get together and play some games together like starcraft, C&C, chess, etc...
I've had a good time with it for a while now.
My sort of vision for this I guess, would be to schedule some good times when several HCers would probably be on. The only problem is where would all of us meet.
My first thought would be on MSN. This messenger program is nice cause you can invite people into your conversation instantly. This might be the best way to meet once we have a scheduled time.
So for example one particular time could be 6PM (18:00)(Server Time) So if your server offset is -5, then that would be 1PM for you.
Basically if we can get at least 4 people to come regularly it will be a big success. And if we have another 10 people that come once in a great while, then we should have 5 or 6 people come to the scheduled time.
Just an idea I had to bring the community together a bit.

sounds great
i would love to get together and play a game with a few HC members.
i would recomend to play games at yahoo. they have many small games like chess and pool with private rooms and such.

I'll play, if anyone wants to play games like Guild Wars.. Warcraft III... Dawn of War... I think that's all I have installed right now.

I would join, but I think that 6 pm server time is about 7 am here...

i can play H3, H4, AOE II conquerers, starcraft and any other games on the net like on yahoo games or other sites
also i think we should make a table of some sort
for example
Starcraft: RSF, Lord_Pc,ect.
chess: RSF, Lord_Pc,ect.
age of wonders: Vlaad
and so on.
this way if u have a game, u can easily see who else is willing to play

Good idea!  Perhaps RSF should put and update the list in his first post.

Ok I'm also going to make another category called times of interest.
From 6am to noon board time will be Mornings, noon to 6pm will be afternoons, 6pm to 12 pm will be evenings and 12pm to 6am will be nights.
Each will be in two different catergories, weekdays and weekends.
So say you are +7 board time and you want to play on weekday afternoons and evenings, then you'd be playing mornings and afternoons weekdays.
Alright here's when I think I'd be the most able to play.
Weekdays: Afternoons, Evenings
Weekends: Afternoons, Nights

do we all see the same board times???
edit: well if we do and i think we do, then i can play from 4:15 to about 8:15 board time, more or less.
thats from sundays to thurdsays board time
on friday and saturday that becomes more like 12 am board time to 12pm board time
thats what i can do

This post is being made at about 2 AM. This is board time which is Eastern Standard Time in the United States or -5 from the Prime Meridian.
So if your profile says your time is +2, then subtract 7 hours and that's board time. Likewise if your profile says you are -9, add 4 hours and that's board time.

edit: well my thing is +14. so in board time that is 2 am
so i can play from about 12:15 am to about 5:15 board time
sun-thur: 12:15 am - 5:15 am board time
fri-sat: 8pm - 8am board time
weekday: nights
weekend: evenings, nights
i think thats right

Sweetness. Of course, it's not multiplayer oriented; it's mostly a race. We all just play individually and try to up our game stats before everyone else. We'd like to have you guys join us in this if you can.
