i have a few suggestions for you. firs change spider princess/spider queen to nelf females riding nightsaber panthers.i would like to have this patch as soon as its avaivable

We all want Grove as soon as possible! But we can't do nothin' . If they say that they have problems inside the team they can't do the 2nd commander after WoG 3.59

stop being so pessimistic just because they're having a problem within the team doesn't mean tehy are going to disband or that they won't release it this month, IT's ONLY THE 4TH!!! so i say that we all stop complaining cuz it's really annoying to think someones posted something interesting to then find out u were just complaining or crying over something that could be just s tupid minor problem like somebody forgot to send something or whatever

Well...i lke the spider preincess/spider queen....it's new...heroes doesn't have any spider-like creature.

Grove Town Update
There are only 10 out of the 14 basic creature animations almost ready (I think there are only a few of those that don't have some bugs that need fixing). I'm sure everyone would prefer to wait for all 14 creature animations or else you'll end up with a crazy mix of Grove Creatures and some Fortress creatures with Grove creature names--thoroughly confusing.
It looks like the Spider Princess/Queen is too complex to include an animation for at this time so we'll probaby end up replacing it with something else.
There are only two people working on creature animation designs (K1ng and Darkloke) but with help from Sergey and Ziel who are doing some cleaning up, fixing of frames and improvments, etc.
The town graphics and map graphics (for external dwellings, etc.) are all basically done as far as I know (by Skywalker) but he's very busy right now so we'll have to hunt him down. The hero portraits are all ready.
ERM scripting for the special town buildings and hero abilities is all done with a few minor exceptions that are waiting on other decisions.
We haven't worked out the stats and abilities for the creatures yet, however, (just some initial discussions), let alone figured out the ERM coding for them, so that's something we're going to work on in the next few weeks while work continues on the graphics. One issue we have is that there may not be any way of removing some of the special abilities that the Fortress creatures have (until we get aid from Slava for 3.59) but we'll work on that.
One campaign (Vlaad's) is done in the beta stage and can be tested once the creatures are all done and their abilities in. Vlaad is taking a leave of absence from Heroes, including the Grove Town Team but I will try and implement any balance tweaking after its tested. A second campaign (TNT's) may be finished (beta) in about a month.
That's about the state of things. Essentially, there's no point in trying to release a beta right now because it would be a mishmash of graphics (some finished and some not) plus all the old Fortress creature stats and abilities and some Fortress creatures. Trust me, this wouldn't be much fun to play.
So have patience and it will all eventually get done I hope--it just takes a long time.

how about using the huntress from warcraft 3 then the upgrade would be the priestess of the moon or how about using the avatar and spirit of vengeance, or even hipogryph and hipogryph rider since people were conplaing a while back about how the town had no flying units

It's not decided yet but it looks like we'll choose another Warcraft creature because it's a lot faster and easier to adapt those animations than doing something from scratch. K1ng is our only graphics person designing stuff from scratch right now.

Me too. And besides that I thought it was cool looking. I've asked K1ng if he can try and work on it later when he has more time (so maybe it can appear as a neutral creature or something).
Anyway, I think the Russian Drow Town Team was planning a spider creature too but I don't know if they're even still in existance.
