Really Good Job.Beautiful units, nice town screen,interesting hereoes, and so on..
Obviously your work shall become an inspiration to all that try to create such a project.

I think most of the creature animations aren't finished yet so it wouldn't be much fun to play right now--you'd have to use Fortress creature animations instead and I think that would spoil the feel of it, don't you?
But we're all hoping that K1ng will be able to finish his animations as soon as possible.

You should add Grove as a new town. I think it's better than Bastion.

Probably you are right, but you never know what future brings.
Btw.I don't care whether there will be town replacement or addition of a completely new one without losing the others..The fact is that playing will be awesome.

Well... If there is so many from W3 in Grove, why shouldn't be sounds too? Some slashes, some falls, some movement sounds(of course, from night elves race) and-voala! Sounds are ready! If someone could give me list of needed sounds...

I think that is a very good idea. Warcraft 3 is a good source for sounds.

Yes, they are copyrighted. As well as the buildings from Cossacks and Disciples Sacred Lands that ALREADY are in WoG for a very long time.
However note, that firstly it's only a small part of a game and I don't think anyone would want to make a fuss about it (like about putting the graphics from a copyrighted game on your website), and secondly - WoG is FREE. That means that nobody gains any benefits (money) from other peoples' work. Also nobody from the WoG Team claims any rights to these graphics. They are still the property of the companies that produced those games. So you cannot really say about stealing anything here. In terms of law, yes it is illegal (starting with modifying the HoMM3 game and using its' elements, by the way). However as Slava (I think) once said - no profit, no prison.

"No profit, no prison" is not completely correct when it comes to Blizzard. They are total bastards, I remember how there used to be a completely free starcraft based mod for C&C Generals being made by some fans, but Blizzard shut them down by using copyright laws even though they werent losing anything.

2 things with copyright
1. K1ng is not selling this, so.......they really dont need to sue
2. This is a FAN add on, 3DO is not doing this, since K1ng is not part of a company and just a fan, they should stay out of this.

That didnt stop Blizzard from shutting down the starcraft based Generals mod.
They might not sue but they might force the team to stop the development by threatening to sue. It didnt matter to them that the mod was being made by fans or that they were making it free, Blizzard are just snows.
