are u sure Sfidanza's writing of the skills is 100% accurate cos there is a difference between his and the skill wheel on the celestial heavens website??? i am not criticising him or anyone just want to know which is much more accurate.

Huh? Where? Anyway trust you own skillwheel, requires destructive, sorcery and luck.

Sometimes for some reason you get the wrong Skill Wheel with TotE. I don't know if it affects Rage of the Elements but Teleport Assault for the Warlock is indeed messed up.

However, I'm sure the next one I uploaded is correct:

I have a slight problem, when i use the skillwheel for ToTe 3.0 wchis is in the game folder, it clearly shows that i cant have chilling blade or what ever you call it when i play necromancer, but in the 344 page manunal on the skill wheel of the necromancer it clearly shows that i can have it, all i need is dest magic and "master of ice" perk.

So... which one is correct??

Cold Steel requires Master of Ice. That one is correct, I checked the game's internal files. You could download the Skill Wheel I uploaded above, it seems it's correct in this case as well

Retribution doesn't seem to work...
I'm playing the campaign of TotE and since the beginning I was trying to get retribution with Gotai and finally in level 23, I got it.
I have +8 morale and I'm fighting a battle, my chieftains do 480-570 damage to the overseers, and then I use the ability that gives +4 morale and still, my chieftains do 480-570 damage to the overseers (their morale is +12 now)...
Then I loaded the quick save and took off every morale improving artifact, and then my morale was +3, I got to the battle, and STILL my chieftains did 480-570 damage to the overseers.

I updated the game from v3.0 to v3.01 but it changed nothing.

Am I missing something here? Maybe I didn't understand how retribution works?

Retribution doesn't improve if morale is over 5. When you had +3 that was probably from skills but your units have +2 already so it was 5 again.

Now why IN GOD'S NAME wasn't this mentioned anywhere (not in the manual, not in the skill wheel, not in the game itself etc)??
I apologize for shouting but this is really annoying, I'm in the last level of the Orc campaign and ALL my skill choices were aimed at retribution. Had I known it was limited to +5 morale I would have gotten better skills instead, I mean, for heaven's sake, I took RECRUITING for it...

Oh, and yes, you were right about having +5 morale, I used a non fortress creature to make my morale +3 and indeed the damage was lower.

Retribution is actually a pretty strong skill. However in campaigns warmachines with flaming are better since they allow you to rush through the map killing everything with minimal army. Esp if you had not patched the game as in vanilla tote flaming arrows ignored 100% of enemy defense.

Don't expect everything to be mentioned somewhere, although i bet it is. My guess is that if you don't know that luck and morale are "usable" until +5 then there are a lot of things that you may not know. There are numerous things i learn everyday and i have spent hours in games and reading.

You need to find and equip Pedant of Mastery (relic artifact) and have the racial skill at expert.

Are you playing TotE? Prequisites are totally different compared to the original H5.
If yes, and you have checked it, try to clear every skill, if not, it might happen that the nice AI doesn't offer you the ultimate.

For me it was quite obvious, really. I already knew morale was capped at 5, and therefore retribution obviously is as well. Also think the skill wheel says so.

Anyway, retribution is broken. +25% damage for your whole army is worth about 3 skill slots, yet you get it for 1 (or 2 if you think recruitment is worthless)
