I played Anarchy Online for a few months and am proud to say that the interface threw me off-balance quite a bit...At this point, I'm trying my hand at WoW.

I'm open to Diablo 2 and Starcraft games on Battle.net if people are still into it. Chances are I'll never play a single game of Everquest or World of Warcraft in my life, so I'm making the best of the games I know I'll be playing.

What's wrong with you people?
You people are sick! Online games are for poor people. People who can't afford purchasable games just play free games on the intranet. World Of Warcraft is different. First you BUY the game, then you buy an account from blizzard. Not Runescape where you make a free account and play as long as you want. Then those stupid people waste $5 a month for more quest and music.

Whats wrong with you?
Whats so wrong about playing an internet game? I was playing WoW and adventure quest online a while ago. Adventure quest is free, does that make me poor? Just because the game creators choose to make a good game accessable to everyone by not charging for it, that makes you poor?
Based on your logic i could say:
Your so sad for playing sport. You go the the park for free and play with your friends for free. You should go pay money and join a club if you want to play.

if people want a good game with a great one player story, they buy a game. if people want to play against other people in the world. they play online games

Once again, To play Warcraft you must BUY stuff.(Where were you when I said that?) and playing adventurequest makes you either poor or... strange, because I don't know anyone who has a game like Heroes III and plays games for people who can't afford it. Plus, adventure quest has people who want your money! First they say; Sign up, It's free, It's the best game ever, but these people force you to pay any way they can! When you try to log in they say: Only members can log in whenever they want, only members can have the best weapons, only members can do special quests! Then by doing this 'stufff' they make you want to pay $20 to recieve useless stuff. And now you're thinking: How do these people get the money if they're poor! Well I'll tell you! They ask their parents for money every ten seconds and they say no every time. Then the parents get really mad and and their house becomes a hell. Also older people that make their own money just spend it on this uselessness!
By the way, you are a tosser

the arguments you put forth are amazingly bad. if "free" games prod you for money to play then dont play them.
and what is the difference between paying for WoW and paying for another game like adventure quest. the basis is the same. its like you are arguing for 2 sides at the one time.
i must say i play internet games and they are extremely addicting and fun. why dont you go tell the hundreds of thousands of people that play hattrick that they are wasting thier money.
what if i go and pay for a net game and you say i am wasting my money on uselessness. then you go out and buy WoW and i say that you are wasting your money on uselessness. its the same concept. people find fun in different ways. your opinion isnt universal

Uhhhh i was right here. Did i ever say anything about WoW? No? Guess you should read before you post.

Right. So just because im not some loser who is still stuck up on a game thats some 10 years old im poor or strange? H3 is a good game, but im bored of it now, so i try something new on the net. Man i must be poor, and strange. I should be ashamed of myself...

You must have realised that you have no substansial arguement because this has absolutly nothing to do with your original arguement. Your basically contradicing yourself. In your first post you say online games are poor because you dont have to pay for them and here you say AQ is still poor even though you have the option to pay for it.
Then you go on to whine about how they want your $20 for extra features. Well if you wernt such a poor tight ass, you would pay the $20 wouldnt you, because it really isnt that much for a one off payment. Now whos the strange poor fool?
Edit: deleted bits that may be thought as offensive.

I play DOW online with my friends after school pretty often.
You buy Dawn of War, and the expansion, it's free to play online, but it doesn't make me poor, it's an intense game.
You're such a fool, go play your H3 which now costs what 10$ in the bargain bin?

I want to shoot you all!
You and your sick love of online games is f***ing agrivating me!
1.First of all, what is the point of spending $20 on a piece of s***.
I don't get you people! First you spend 20 on AQ. The another 20 on Runescape, then another 20 on some g** game, the 20 on some other online game. Then another 20 on some other bull. Then that way you lose $100 on nothing good. You could have bought and PS2 with that money and a good normal game, but no,you just had to spend 100 on this bull.
2.When I say online games I mean games that are free and multiplayer! I don't really understand how Warcraft is free if you have to buy stuff(Unless you download it). Go to a poor city and talk to the litttle kids there. They will say that they play Runescape and never heard of World Of Warcraft. Go to a rich community and they will all say that they are playing $60 games.
Like lord_pc said before: "if people want a good game with a great one player story, they buy a game"
"By the way what game did you mean when you said DS, or did yo mean Nintendo DS?
@ Xaremathras: -qp applied. 1. The extensive language (whether stared out or not) is uncalled for. 2. I believe you are taking the subject a bit out of hand. Why not take a breather and participate in a more community friendly way instead of attacking people based on what they like to do.

Look. Nobody tells you what to play, so why don't you stop insulting people for what they fill their spare time with? Also, a quick visit to the Code of Conduct wouldn't hurt.

I play an online MMORPG called "Poker". It is a fun game that is free to play and if you are good at it, you will end up making a lot of money as opposed to losing money paying huge monthly fees.

How about this:
Games are fun, but don't play too much ok?
1-2 games should be enough, if you play too many you cant really like them all that much anyway.
These are things u need before u can play:
Grades
graduation
job
money
GF
Friends
purpose in life
self-esteem and identity
When u have that u can play as much as u want
