@Russ: Demon Herding can be as much as effective as Skel Hoarding. Same as 750 Skellies gets almost unbeatable the 450 Demons will be too, no matter how slow they are.
And its not really that hard to do a demonfarming, especially when u get an external Pitlord Dwelling. By then u just need a well prepared chainsaw for two days to get that amount on a normal random.
U dont like Inferno? Ok, no problem. But stop insisting that Inferno is weak.

Ok...took a bit of time and thought about that project.
This is what i think will be the best way:
We can keep this thread for discussion and bashing about how weak demons are, so our fighters have a playground 
I will open NINE new threads now, called "Heroes 3 Town rating -enter twontype here-"
Everyone can feel free to post his opinions about that town in THAT SPECIFIC thread.
- Advantages, Disadvantages
- Best creatures (level referred), with explanation why
- Special buildings
- Building order
- Hero classes
- Good / Bad on what kind of maps
- OWN subjective rank in a townranking, from 1st (best) to 9th (worst)
Please discuss ALL stuff in this thread here....let these upcoming threads first of all collect some more ranking stuff before we frighten away others from gving us their honest opinion.

LOL, where would you get 450 demons? Xarfax's custom map called "demon farming:made easy"? A lot of talk, 0 proof.

Russ you sound like the players years ago, that said that necro is weak and that u cant get 750 skels in a game. Now all players dont allow skel hoarding on random maps.
The time u obtimize YOUR demon hoarding you will see how easy it is to get such an amount on maps like jebus cross. The only problem with demon hording is the time factor. If your opponent is fast enough you wont succeed. Same problem is with Necro on a fixed map.
Random is really optimal for Demon farming. Lots of external dwellings which can be transformed into demons. 2 additional towns AND those have external dwellings too. You not only have the starting armies from your starting heroes, additional to this you get armies from prisoners. Wyvern will be transformed into Demons. Refugee camps and not to forget the 40 dwarves that ull get from Pandora Boxes and so on.... plus Health and creature growth arties are easy to get and give additional boost. Demon hoarding is difficult and boring ..same as skel hoarding, but as same as effective.
Not to mention that demon hoarding gets 10 times better as soon as Diplomancy and the Grail comes into the game.

I'd like to see you "obtimize" your demon farming to get 450 demons by week 3 on Jebus. Btw, transforming wyverns into demons 1:1 is perharps the stupidest idea I've heard so far.

I think that Tower is the best followed by Castle, then Conflux, then Inferno, then Stronghold, then followed by others.
