What monster looks to wierd?
I think that halflings, sea monsters and those lepercons look realy wierd. Well they don't look wierd but there faces certanly are messed up! I mean the lepercons look like geeks, and well the halflings look look like they drank too much coffey and as for the sea monsters they look like thay've got tosted in the Microw-wave! Just go to hmm4.com and look at the monster gallery, you will probubly see that the eyes on the halflings look too big the le lepercons look to happy/crazy and the sea monsters are just crazy! Yes I hope they change the look because there wierd! And anothere thing why don't liches have legs? that just looks wierd! I think Minotors look cool and most of the other ones but halflings, sea monsters and lepercons look realy strange! And another thing those warlocks have glowing eyes? Thats bizzar! And why do most female warriers where next to none armor/close? are they trying to show off to the boys? I mean I would rather have armor than most of my body showing! besides Wheres they armor? I still think that theres a lot of work to be donne on HOMM4 because look at all these problems! Yes still will be cool, but first LETS GET SERIUS! MAN!

I agree. The halflings look like dolls, but in the game we are not going to see their faces that close, so I don't worry...

I think the leprochauns look good. The Halflings however do look like little kids/dolls.

I've always wondered why women in these games never wear full armor. Remember Catheran from Heroes 3? She had a freaking metal bikini on!!
"Well, I don't want to die in battle but my legs are too nice to hide behind armor...."
Whatever, the leperchauns look like they are from San Fransisco (not that there's anything wrong with that) and the Halflings looks like Chucky. I also think that the dragon looks a little skinny.
I do like the sea monster, though. It's very unique.

Yeh,
The Halfling could have been much better (given most of the other pics) and the Leprechaun just doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of it; right?

The Unicorn looks, well, stupid! I think that was one case where should have left well enough alone. It looks like a stuffed animal I would give to a 5 year old girl.
The Sea monster is a little; Ok, a lot unusual, but I guess that can be left to the imagination, (unlike the Unicorn, they're just known as plain white).
What's the blond with the staff?

This Mech ala Quake-The-Game Dragon looks weird...
i don't like it at all
We don't need industrial revolution in heroes fantasy realm.
But they say this game - Arcanum (in this game - there is an industrial revolution) is pretty good - which reminds me to install it's demo right now and play it...

I was just looking through the new creatures pics with my 7 year old and he claims that the lich and the unicorn are girls. I asked him why and he said, well the lich has boobs and the unicorn was, well have you seen it? That is a horrible unicorn, look at the h3 'corns and you see powerful warriors. The h4 'corn looks like a sticker on the back of my neighbors minivan that he shares with his life partner. The leprecahns are truely bad and enough bad cannot be said about the huge eyed halfling. The Satyr looks a little "prancey" too. Did 3DO lose a anti-discrimination lawsuit? Are they going to call the game Heroes of Might and Magic IV : The Fruit of the Loom.

i have no problems w/the leprechauns...
you say they look too happy; but they are supposed to be really happy... thats a defining characteristic of a leprechaun.

I think the defining characteristic of a leprechaun is that they're small and mischeivious but I don't think that helps when it comes to a battle. I could not picture a horde of this little 2 inch tall buggers doing much to a dragon and it's even dumber that they're level 2 creatures (supposedly). I used to like rampart (will be preserve i guess now) and I would rather see many other creatures take the place of these 'jolly' little fruits.
Dryad- special is spirits (attacking, mobile 'ghosts') generated from a tree which stays in one spot on the battle field. Can only be harmed by attacking tree not by attacking spirit. Spirits are weaker when farther from tree, stronger when close.
BTW I'm patenting this special as MY idea since I've not heard anybody use it and i've been in the heroes community since the old board...Pbpbpbpbpt 
good ol centaurs.

Um ok im here to defend most of these creatures (bar the leprechaun that can happily rot in hell with the dragon golem)
Ok i dont think ive seen the new halfling face on so cant really comment on that.
But i really like the sea monster why? Because its so damn close to real sea creatures i mean they are fish nearly exactly like this one so i dont know how people can have a problem with it.
I also like the unicorn so it looks abit "my little ponie" ish so what? I mean what do u guys want its a deer/horse with a horn on its head what you get is what you see

Weird monsters...
Yeha this sea monsters are really weird with this lamps on their heads.
Unicorns are look like baby horses and not powerfull and noble fighters. 
Nightmers dont look so fearfull. Leprechauns look like clowns.
Halflings are drunk. Traglodyte dont have even eyes.

I dont agree. You can make a horse with a horn look better just like in homm3. The new unicorn looks definately like a "my little ponie" toy, I agree with you and that's the problem! I dont want to fight with toys but with cool fighting monsters! Why did they have to dran a raimbow mane! please, it's a joke! I'm sure the artist is a woman because this unicorn looks too much girlie to me. What's next? a little pink bow in its mane for the upgraded version? (yeah, I know, there will be no upgraded version but you get my point)
And looks at the nightmare creature, it looks also girlie like the arch enemy of the unicorn (the good horse and the bad one) with its cute orange mane. Darn, it looks like Sonic the hedgehog's newest arch enemy is twin evil brother.
Absolutely no imagination.
The fish also suck with his "lamp" just like someone said.
Honestly a lot of those monsters suck. The behemoth doesnt look frifghtenight anymore! look at his muzzle. Looks like a kind of half breeg human-behemoth breed.
I'm very disapointed with some of the monsters. Please let's hope they fix this (same for the halbits but I never liked them anyway, they are real useless wimps)
And once again, put back the vampires!
