arts that effect skill %

i think this belongs here... not sure...
items the up the % of a skill, they should show the total skill % somewhere, i am ALWAYS trying to find out what my total necro skill is, and have to count every mod on the map, and i know that some items increase sorcory and eagal eye as well,

Not that way

I didn't meen it that way. I ment that the point of the sirens is to kill your soldiers and yet give you expirience. The feather of the siren does not make hystorical and logical sence.

i agree..

i agree.. if the sirens were to just give experience for nothing.. or if there were to be an artifact like the siren feather it would take away everything the mythological creature of the siren stands for...

Sirens

To prevent siers kiling ur troops maybe u could use something that has historical sense, maybe amulet of silence (its their singing which makes u jump in the water), or maybe the thing which protects from Berserk should protect from sirens.

Experience

I think that there should be something that protects you from the sirens, but then if you go there it should not give you experience. You get experience from the healt of your units.

Old artifacts

About the old artifacts - the mask, fizbin and tax lien:

To return them requires some changes... In homm2 the easiest way to get rid of them was to attack nearest wandering monster and commit suicide or simply by disbanding the hero.. Of course after giving the artifact to a new "low-level" hero! This could of course be countered by not allowing heroes to exchange cursed items.. .as often is the standard..
Personally I don't think it would be a good idea to have too many cursed artifacts.. ..they only destroy your "feelings" for the hero character, which leads to => You move all your stuff to your second best hero and remove the old one..!
...Even though I recall some fun in a multiplayer game including multiple fizbins and tax liens!

idea

lets use more norwegian myths. i dont remember the sword name, maybe someone can help me? Its this kind of a sword that you carry and it changes it size, but no weight according to the enemy. So my idea is there should be a sword like this(its quite powerful): it divides the hitpoints of the enemies you are attacking with lets say 20 and then adds the number it got to your attack power. this would work with creatures with levels 1-4 and it doesnt work with heroes.

Alchemist Tower

Ever played price of loyality? If yes, remember the alchemists tower that remove cursed artifacts for a fee. Then if you have not go to: www.heroecofmightandmagic, then klick on HommII Price of Loyality. You will see that there is a way to get rid of them.

Do you mean that you get a +1 for every 20 hitpoints? Take for instance upgraded ogres (don't they have 60 hp?), then that would mean +3/ogre you're attacking... umm.. 10 ogres = +30 attack skill?!? It kind of sounds like a MIGHTY sword.. perhaps a little too mighty..?

Matthy , Have you ever looked at the first page of this thread, I come up with the idea of Exalibur  powerful sword that oly lets enemies use 50% of their defense skill. Look at it and that compare it to your sword.

1) it doesnt matter how many ogres there are(1000 or 1)
2)Its not the same. it works for level 1-3 creatures and it doesnt work with heroes and +3 attack and -50% defense are not the same...i mean in case of ogres

Your sword...

Well.. in that case it's not very mighty.. .Is it 1-3rd level monsters or 1-4th..? Well anyhow.. 1-4 gives a plus to attack between 1 and 3.. If it's 1-3 I think that the plus is 1 or 2.. Now the question follows: is there really any point in making a sword which bonus varies between 1 and 2.. there's not a very big difference I mean..

Combo artifacts for the races

In Heroes3,there was the cloak of the undead king for the necro,angellic alliance(seemingly for castle).How about having 1 set of combo artifact(useful in battles) for each castle?It will make the other castles more interesting to play

Combos

Also another thing about the combos: They would like give creatures 50% plus damage versus they'r natural enemy. Examples: Castle - Inferno, Rampart- Necro and Tower - Dungeon.

Yes, this could be a cool art, maybe it could be a combo art for the polaris, if it will be included in the expansion, but I think that the hammer should give also a lightning attack to your hero when attacking someone on the battlefield, or maybe a lightning attack to the units which will do additional damage or a lightning shield.

Cool

Nice idea Mystery. There could be a combo artifact for the Astral. It could be called : The Cloak of Ellusion. It would give +5 to all the skills and also give a new spell. The spell would The Hand of the Ellusion. It would be something like a giant hand reach from the sky and sweep up a certain area of units that would be selected by the hero.

P.S.: What's with the change Mystry. You look better like Drakon.

i think there are enough artifacts but i really think they should create more castles: egypt(sand)town, ice town, astral town(perhaps a conflux), mechanical town etc. why dont these guys use the ideas from fans and instead only make things by themself?
