High School Reunion

OK I got the email...

My high school reunion is on in 4 months time.  I am not sure whether or not to attend.  I would like to hear from anyone who has been to their's, has an opinion, or anyone else

Also if you are still at school, do you think you would want to go to a reunioun 15 years after finishing year 12?

I'm still a slacker.
And I don't want to meet any of these over-achievers from high school unless I can somehow show them up.

so I guess that's a no

I am still in school and I think you should attend.
I know if it was me, I would probably attend, just to see all my old mates and stuff.
So yeah go and attend it and it may bring back old memories.
Your lucky you have finished high school aswell, because I have 2 more years of it lol

Make the most of it William, and don't take anything too seriously.  Seriously

Yeah I guess it would be good to catch up with some people..  I dunno though if the people I would want to see would attend?  Hmm  Thanks for your responses guys...

Well how about you try and contact them, or do you still have some of your friends that were friends with you at school?
If you do then maybe ask them if they are attending, and maybe ask them if they know your other friends if you have any joke, if they are attending.
Go and attend and I hope you have fun

I for one, if I ever were invited to one, might want to attend mine. Seeing any old mates you may not have seen for a while would be special.

Well I just finished H school, and I would go. To see how the people who I wasn't in touch with have changed. Still I do not know what type of experience you had in High school and how fond you were(are?) of those people, but I would go.

Hmm... I think there were a few thousand people who went through my high school in Canada while I was there. If I went to a reunion, I would most likely end up seeing a bunch of people whom I've never got acquainted to before and who most likely don't share a lot of common interests with me. So amm... I'd probably go just for the hell of it, lol! If I don't like it - I can always leave.

I agree with Russ.  Go check it out, and if it's boring, just leave.

I guess it all depends on how well you knew everyone.  I would assume that most of the people worth seeing are already in contact with you, but it's a nice opportunity to see where the rest of them ended up.  It's always fun to see the prom queen turn into a fat bum or the nerd turn into some hotshot professional athlete.  I guess those don't happen often, but you never know.

I think you have all just about talked me into it...  I can always leave like you said.  I will fill you all in on the details, it's not for a while yet though.  Has anyone got any real school reunion stories?

don't know about the lawyer going down too well, unless it's defending criminals, and then I might get offered a bit of work I couldn't do

Doctor?  Nah, too many people would ask me for fake prescriptions...

hmmm...

maybe not so impressive, something with a great story that I could crap on about for a while.
