HC Keeps Crashing: A log.
Uhuh.
Word on the street is that it is not just that purple button being pushed for your amusement. This is a REAL problem and it is getting worse. I am here alot while I am on holidays, sure, but I am experiencing 5 + crashes a day. Tonight has been really bad. As I am typing this, the curser is dragging. It is not my comp - all other sites work fine, and others have mentioned the same problem. What is interesting is that it doesn't seem to hit us all at the same time.
This thread is asking for some kind of response to this issue.
As well as a place for members to 'log' when this happens to them.
Really Val can we sort this out somehow...

I would like this theory to be investigated if it has worth - I know nothing about computers, but I also want something to be done...

No problem and is this better
I am quite experience with FTP and webhosts and Forums and phpbb and all of that, so I may have some theories as you have seen.

Yeah . . .
It does from time to time. The problem is that most people don't talk about it, so when it's back up and running . . . you start to feel like it only happened to you. This has been going on ever since I've been here. In fact I would resort to using Gaurdian's Grove as my backup board until the mods there (won't say any names *cough* Lich_King) started to get angry because I would go there and only want to talk about Heroes Community stuff. LoL. I don't care what they think of me. Heroes Community is the best message board on the internet. If they don't like it then they can eat my shorts!

HC crashed for me at approximately 2:30 am on 3 October 2006 (forum time). It was back ten minutes later.

I didn't crash on that time, but I have had it happen too. I find its most often when I'm doing mod-stuff though.

This is the best HCM system I have seen, don't kill it, but

Mr. Lich_King my post was related to this topic. You're free to exercise your authority but it won't change my opinion of your attitude toward me.
I mean seriously, do you really have to be such a (insert colorfully emotional expletive here) to me? What did I ever do to you? Simply because I came to your website when HC was down? Is that sufficient reason to start being mean to me and start deleting my posts here in the Tribunal?
For your information, I really think of you as a lot like me. If you check some of my original posts here at HC, you may find that I love liches almost as much as you do. My group of friends that I once roleplayed with knew me for my necromancers. I recall seeing the pic of you in the black cape and the staff in your room. I loved it. I've always loved it.
If you have a problem with me then simply come out and say it. Otherwise LEAVE ME ALONE AND STOP DELETING MY POSTS IN THE TURBAN TRIBUNAL.
