Blah. And bleh.
HC has its cycles, yes. But, I've noticed, HC never fully recovers from the negative part of its cycles.

I never much paid attention to cycles until I went to UIC's(University of Illinois at Chicago) theatre to drop off some stuff for my roommate. If there is a cross section of society whose idea of being an outcast and freaky hasn't changed since the days of Ginsburg and the rest of the Beat, it's these laughable losers. Drama majors....

I Think,
I've gone back and read many many of the older posts from the "glory days" of Heroes Community. I've read posts from Jinxer, Zud, Laelth, Sir_Elric, Djive, Vesuvius and his wife, RedSoxFan3, LichKing & Lich_King, bort, Cat, some guy with a black dragon avatar whose named began with a P that I couldn't pronounce, Shae_Trielle, The white dragon avatar girl, MandyBug, Tewilligar, Lady_Milena(that strange cat woman pic), the guy with the blue cloud air god head, The_Gootch, Vesuvius's marine friend who got out and switched to the zombie avatar, Lord_Woock (Dark God of Spam), Lith-Maethor Greek Of wolf & Elf guy that used to have the Street fighter ninja girl as his avatar, Wizard_Boy, ThE_HyDrA, Angelito, Marelt_Ekiran, KittenAngel (before everyone hated her when she was still with that guy--forgot his name--he was a mod here), Old_Timer, Hamsi128, Haile73, Sir_Stiven, Hexa & his wife Romana, Wesley, and some more that I can't remember at the moment. I have to say that I found them to be filled with excitement and energy. Always coming back to post and having great conversations.
Today's posts are much different: There are more Canadians and Americans here now. Most of the group that gave those days their glorious title were European, Scandanavian, and don't forget that Valeriy is originally from Russia. Vesuvius discovered this when he found how popular Heroes III had become especially among eastern Europeans. I would say that today's postings and most popular members do just as much role playing but much less friendship through gaming experiences. And also . . . many of the old days members actually knew each other in real life as well.
Today we see much less people who know each other and much more people who are loners looking for friends and new acquaintances. They don't much know each other as much and so we see much more spam topics and less "how are things going with you"/"that was a good game last night" topics.

I also forgot to mention that today's Heroes Community has much much more American patriotism than ever before. Back in the glory days . . . PrivateHudson was the only one who would even begin to approach the U.S. with any degree of objectivity. I recall him saying things like, "We weren't much different when we were a global empire. I'm not convinced either way that the Americans are how you describe them to be." . . . That's saying a lot because everyone knows how much the world hates us these days.

I can remember quite a few thangs about any member I met on here.
I can remember some stuff about you Jake.
It makes you more human then some smart robot people seem to think of you on here.
Being all smart & basically have no fault on here
