Was the wild animal that Bill killed a fish or some animal living in water? yes
Did Bill kill it beacuse he caught it while he was fishing (i.e. the animal died because it could no longer breathe (once caught and brought out of the water) or his hook alone killed it)? yes
If yes, were Alex and Bill fishing together that time? irrelavent
Was the projectile that killed Alex the hook? yes, but that didnt kill alex directly
Was the hook poisoned? yes
Was the fact that Bill killed Alex caused by a catch made by Alex? yes

It looks like he asked two questions there. 1) Were they fishing from a boat or 2) were they fishing from the island or were you simply saying no, they weren't fishing together?

if you do have a question containing "or" (and there have been several so far) break it up into 2 questions.

You said earlier that the weapon included a projectile. This is obviously the hook, right? That was all I meant. But did Bill actually fire it in some way or did he take the hook in his hand when he killed Alex?
And second: Was Alex poisoned on the island?
Did Bill kill Alex immidiately after Alex' catch?

Guess:
Alex and Bill were in a fishing competition and once again Alex caught the biggest fish. Bill lost hope of ever winning a fishing competition while Alex was alive, so he poisoned the hook on his fishing rod and used it to murder Alex. The hook scratched Alex's face and the poison was administered.

They were playing cards and Alex didn't have a Jack so said 'go fish'. Bill went fishing alright, landing the hook that had been sitting in a jar of arsenic for safe keeping into Alex's face, before picking up the 20 kilo GAR that Alex caught earlier and flapping it in his face 
Man that Bill is one big meanie I tell you...

Here's a new one.
Riddle
Kooka flipped the tent flap open and surveyed the scene.
On the floor, in the centre of the tent, a man lay dead from self-inflicted gunshot wounds.
In the corner of the tent was a small cot.
A package of cigarettes and an empty whiskey bottle lay on the bedside table next to the kerosene lamp.
The only other items Kooka found at the scene were 6 small circular wooden disks under the cot, the man's personal effects, and a variety of scrapbooks and news clippings.
She found the last items strange as the suicide victim was completely illiterate.
What was the reason for the suicide?

I know this is probably irrelevant but did you mean the package of cigarettes and empty whiskey bottle were next to the kerosene lamp and these items as well as the lamp were on the table or there was the bottle and cigarettes on the table and the table was next to the lamp
