My reponse:

Trap master: true
rust warrior: half false --- maximal only Fortress
Blue wizard: true
Falcon Archer: false --- a bit Sylvan like
Ice demon: absolutley FALSE --- like Ice demon in HOMM IV
Frost Giant: almost true --- like Colossus but wider and a bit smaller

Yes you are right but I think it's a bad thing that a fire creature summons an ice creature.
I'm still on my opinion, that Ice Demons aren't form Inferno or even connected to it.

far enough!

try a different name to Ice demon. if even mention the word "demon" in any of your creatures names, then people instantly associate it with inferno. try something else. Crystal fiend, for example, or Ice horror.

But doesn't the Dwarf's already take the Icy Mountain theme?

In all cases, for a Frost Castle, I would rather see the main dominating creature/race be that of a Frost Giant (as Giant vs Dwarf is a good and comment fantasy plot jumpboard)  Can have it consist mostly with large creatures.

A quick thought on the creature line up...  (with Wiki's help)
(X are not sure what to name it...)

Walrus Warrior  /  Walrus Harpooner
Basic level one guys.  Not sure what to use though.. but want something half-beastly-man that lives in the snow...  Could always change to something else... but act as the typcial shock troopers.

Raven / X  :
early level flyer.  low damage, but use more to distract enemy with their ablity.

Yeti  / Abominable Yeti
Basic melee fighter.  Have icy breath ablith that can slow down foe.

Frost Giant Brute / Frost Giant Crusher
Brutish giant who throw rocks and iron balls.  Long range attacker.

Frost Witch / Ice Queen
Magic user with Ice magic and summon Ice Elementals.

Disir / Valkyrie
Teleporting Female Giant Warriors that do great attacks.

Devour /Fenrir
Must have Fenrir!  Great wolf that does great damages.

Well.. from the line up.. seem like the Giants are more of a matriarch socieity.. with the male Giant big and stupid, and female more intellegent and beautiful, a society who use lots underlins for shock troopes.

Relie more with melee than range or flying.  Could play mostly with using the Ravens and Frost Witch to freeze and blind key enemies, while the Brute throw rocks afar, to allow the other slower moving melee fighter to close ranks.

I think of giants as not being wise enough to build towns.  and they would all be large creatures.

Pretty Good, upgrades to Nictoraxi?

I like it, for this faction, but for mine yeti are peaceful.

Take out the brute and the Iron balls.

Ice elementals?

Am I the only person who reads norse mythology? The Valkyries were anti-giants.

Devor?  Actions in the factions?

Actually.. I do like my creature line ups, and do enjoy the creative exercise... so will add some more details into it.

(and no one said Giants has to be stupid)

Lv.1
???/ ??? (unname)

Lv.2
Crow / Raven
Fast flyer with longest movement range that can almost cover an entire field in one flight.  However, have almost no attack power.  Use more to tie down a enemy range attacker.

For look, will be a shaman like bird tammer dress in Crow/Raven suit, and have flocks of crow/raven all around.

-Scatter:  Have 75% chance of evading attack, but one if an attack is evaded this way, will reset its initaltive back.
-Peck: Will automatically attack once of all enemy creature that pass by it.

Lv.3
Yeti / Abominable Yeti

Lv.4
Frost Giant Brute / Frost Giant Crusher
Slow, but very strong with high HP and damage.  Range attack, but very limited shots.

-No Melee Penality
-Boulder Toss:  Their range attack can be target at walls, and will do heavy direct damages, as well as splash damages 1 square next to.  However, its not very accurate, and will randomly fall on a tile within the target range of a 3x3 box.  (so in picking the target, you will get a 3X3 box, showing the area where the boulder might fall into)  also this attack will damage friendly units as well.

Lv.5
Frost Witch / Ice Queen
Magic attacker, but slow, but with better HP than most magic caster type (they are Giantress afterall)  Best use to tie up a dangerous enemy creature.

-Ice Spear
-Freezing Breeze:  Slow down/stunt a target foe for some duration.
-Summon Ice Elemental:  Summon up Ice Elementals on the battle field.

Lv.6
Disir / Valkyrie
Has good attacks and defense.  Act much like a lv6 ArchDevil.  Their teleporting is to compensate for the lack of flyer in the line up.

-Teleporting Movement
-Vorpal Sword
-Inspiration:  Increase friendly nearby creaturr's moral by 1

Lv.7
Devour /Fenrir

Will try to add more details into other one later when I got home.

Actually there coould be the Leperchaun (or Satyr?) as level 1 creature...

Hero special ability can be this in contrast with the mountain-feeling:
Alpine Scream: Spell: Every enemy unit suffer a light hit with a stunnig effect-chance. The heigh of the damage and the chance of stunnig are depending on the heros level.

I think Satyr could be an intersting fit (influen of Naria )

One I am thinking of would be a new creature, with lots furs and cute baby seal face.  Could call them Furlings.

[Concept Image]

Furlings

Furling - upgarde (with tusk and better equipment)

Other name could be Baby Yeti, Sealings, or Puffy Puffy Snow Puff.

Well, thats just ideas.... play with it.

Motto: Hug them, Kiss them, and chop their heads off!"

lol.

you have to admit, they bring a cute factor to heroes that no other faction has. the only way we could have gotten that is if we made the world "fairies, and dasies, and like ambrosia, and primary colours" and the devil with a big smile, big eyes and a big teddy bear instead of his axe.
