Warlord is the best creature out there!
I think Warlord is simply the best unite ... If u have expert luck and u colect ur Warlord very cerufly u get them up to 30 ++ in stack the game become a pice of cake there is a rune that improve speed it cost only 1 wood !! it a lvl 1 rune ! , and u use it on ure Warlord u should active the rune and attak the unite the one al close to each other with some luck u will get a critical hit u can wipe out the hole army in one attak !!!!! Exmp i had 65 Warlords and an inferno hero attaked me with 25 Barlogs 12Demons 250 imps 78 sucabuse 80 3 head dogs and 100 the slow apes hehe they where all touching each other dunt know why but all inferno creturs always touch each othere they never spred out !
And i had a critical hit with my Warlords i KILLED alllll of those units in 1 HIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  !! Man that POWER lol

yeah, 65 warlords. So in fact he should have 65 pitlords, at least 25 archdevils, 1k familiars and so. Blasting a tiny army with a huge stack ain't very impressive.

You MUST be kidding me!Warlord has neither good attack nor damage(even with lightning) and is hard to build,much less accumulate 65+.For anyone but the AI(...) it is unacceptable to keep his units close against fortress which possibly has warlords and dragons.Also what's with the rune of charge?They can cross the battlefield anyway and you can use better things such as rune of berserking/battlerage/dragonform.And any tier 6 creature can benefit from luck.

I .. on the other side , go straigth for the dragons, and skip the warlords. they cost so many gems, and have so small damage  .

Haven't tried expansion yet. Does the Warlord's attack thingy only work on stacks touching each other? I thought it was like chain lightning at first...

His damage is 9-12 physical plus 9-12 lightning.When attacking,the lightning damage hits all enemy adjacent stacks.Especially good if with a rune he gets double attack or attack vs all adjacent enemies as the lightning damage hits multiple times,multiple creatures!
Edit:
Don't imagine outrageous ammounts of damage,he's only got 15 attack.The lightning damage is affected by att/def but doesn't seem to be affected by resistance or lightning immunity.

I colected 65 warlord b/c i didnt use then for couple of months. and inferno hero wasnt the main hero of the computer ! and my warlords was on a lvl 20 hero with 15 attak stats... besicly what im trying to say i was VERY impres when i wipped that army in one SHOT !!!

Heck,I would be myself! AT least the next patch will tweak their resource costs and I'll be able to get more of them and earlier!

hmm? The only good thing about the warlords must be the Def? I think my warlords last long... or is it just me? their attack is bad but the dwarfs have tons of Def...

The lightning travels from one enemy creature to the next enemy creature if the enemy units are touching. It doesn't work on retaliation.

It does work on retaliation, if I remember correctly.
I mainly use warlords as meatshields so that my hero have enough time to cast spells . Their damage is pitiful but they last very long.

Indeed,especially if you have exp defence!But I REALLY hate to lose even a few after the trouble I into to get their dwelling At least you can easily get rune of resurrection.

Yeah, in multiplayer, good luck accumulating those gems. Too bad, cuz Warlard + Dragonblood rune is devastating.

Thanes and Warlords look real nice don't they, big hammers and all, but (as much as am trying not to accept it) they are pretty crappy, I think the dragons are a more solid unit

True, but they are also grat in the beginning, they deal tons of damage to a clustered army. Later on you have other units to finish the job
