An alright faction I guess, could be improved a bit, but good nonetheless.
Some of the units seem alright, but is this kinda like the Settlement, basically comprised of pretty much the same units, only some of them (as levels increase), they get stronger? Or am I misunderstanding this all?
Well an Ogre faction does seem kinda nice, sorta like KD's Orc Faction (The Settlement).
I would have liked to see some more creature pictures, and some more of the buildings and all that, but it seems like you put in some hard work, but I would have liked to see some more effort put into some of the things.
History seems kinda nice aswell.
This is an alright faction, but it seems somewhat unfinished.
But good work nonetheless

Nah don't be sorry, perhaps you could get a friend to scan them for you, and then you can show us, but it doesnt matter.

I mean just generally unfinished, has many things that are not fully complete with it, and they could be fixed up and finished to make this town a bit better, but it is nice now

well, yeah, but you could say the same about Slyvan, that has six elven units, or dungeon, that has six darkelf units. the stampede has six ogre units, and the settlement has about 8 orc units.

The Stampede is out of the contest.
It was edited in the 3th of March.
It's forbidden to edit your faction after the 28th of Febuary.
You got IM about it and it is written in the rules of the contest.

And again, you are organizer, but you can't do this the judges will decide, what will happen here... GM - the judge - chief, will see the decision...

Right, I know what the edits were not I think. What possesed you to edit the entries bixie I do not know, but I'd personally like the factions to stay in the contest; I suppose it's up to GL.

as much as it pains me to say it, (sorry bix), i think it should be out of the contest, rules are rules, if we let bix off, someone else may get an evil idea off it, i'd rather save our time, by simply saying this factions out of the contest, but because it was only one line, we could let him use his other 2 ICTC factions,
how does that sound?

Listen, the rules were obvious when you got into the contest, right?
There are things I'm harsh about, one of them is breakign the rules.
Just think what would happened if he'll say: I just edited a small thing" and I'll forgive him-many people might do that. Then when someone will really edit large thing, and he'll be out of the contest, everyone will say: "it's not fair, why you didn't kick one and other one you did?" or "you kick only those you aren't your friends".
Do I have a better choise?
I came out as a harsh person. What will you do instead of me?
Yes: rules are rules.
And who says "it's not fair" should think how fair will it be if I don't do that.
Ofcourse bixie, we are still friends.
That's my opinion.

just a side note: this, and the stronghold, is what, actually, got me into HC, because i wanted to enter a contest with a town i've created. now i have been a total idiot and added something that was completely irrelivant into the master post. i accept i was wrong, but will you let me into the contest, if i take out the stuff i have editted? if not, then thats fine as well, but please think about that as a possiblity.

Genielord, I still think your decision is stupid, no offense.
Just give him one chance, I say let him enter this town, I have even marked it already, and I doubt that other people will start editing and doing a similar thing to this, I very much doubt that will happen.

TDL, I have been talking with Genielord, and I too suggested that one of Bixies towns should be kicked out, I suggested that the Stronghold be kicked out, and that this one remains, because in my opinion, this town has been worked on a bit harder and I like it slightly better and I see that this town might get far in this competition, but nonetheless, this rule breaking cannot go unnoticed and something must be done.
But I am totally for Bixie on this one, and I think he should be given a second chance,.
Now think for a moment GL, how would you feel if there was for example a school science project contest, and you worked many months on completing your particular thing, and on the day of it, you have been found to have broken a rule, a very very minor rule, and you are kicked out.
Many months of hard work, gone to waste as you are immediately kicked out.
Now how would you feel?
If I was you, I would feel a bit annoyed, infact I would be very very annoyed.
Now imagine what Bixie feels like now.
He has put many months of hard work into this, and you instantly kick him out of the contest, because he adds one line into the master post, which, in my opinion, will not affect the faction and the voting of it in any way possible.
Now I ask you Genielord, can you find it in your heart to give Bixie another chance?
Please do it, as I think that this town will do good.

Sounds fine to me.
The problem is that if we kick others for what he did and don't kick all his factions, how fair will it be?
Wouldn't people say/think: "One you don't kick, and the others you do kick".

He didn't broke minor rule, he broke the most important one! Eventhough he has edited small thing.
I wouldn't be annoyned if something like that happens. I won't try to keep myself in the contest.
In the night, I thought, was would I do if I would accediently edit my faction. The answer was that I'll declare that I'm out of the contest.
That's the difference between us, William.
BTW: I think that this is honorable that bixie doesn't fight for his place in the contest.
