Wog for Heroes -> necropolis thread
Hi! This thread is to argue about the necropolis. I know there are conflicting veiw points. I suggest talking about it here and leaving the other thread open.

if we expand one town, we need to expand all of them. How about replacements instead? For the Necropolis, you can chose between wraiths and death knights (or whatever the hex they are called)

Tough choice... But you'd have to kick the death knights' "deadly strike" to make it balanced...

You can't cahnge creatures or heroes specials so if you wan't Death Knights, you have to replace Wights which will give them the same specials.
I suggest some hero changes:
Lucretia -> Tamika (Advanced Attack)
Orson -> Starker (Basic Logistics, Raise Archers)
Zoltan -> Gauldoth (Basic Summoning magic, Basic Dark Magic)
Increase Spectral Dragons and Spectres attack. Those are not worth the cost. Wraiths have to stop looking like a disco. I also suggest some name changes:
Level 1: Skeleton - Skeleton Archer
Level 2: Walking Dead - Zombie
Level 3: Mane - Spectre (ghost sounds very ugly)
Level 4: Vampire - Vampire Lord
Level 5: Lich - Demilich (that was their orginal name, sounds better than "archlich" which is petty tedious considering that we got "archmages")
Level 6: Black Knight - Death Knight
Level 7: Bone Dragon - Spectral Dragon

I agree, Archlich is not the best name but DemiLich means 'half-lich'. It won't fit. (the DemiLich in Nwn is just a flying skull, but it really is far more deadly than common liches)
What?!? You want to get rid of the Wights? They are Death itself and must be level 7!

A level 7 walker won't be agood thing, they should be neutal.
PowerLich then?
EDIT: I just found something strange, they are "Black Knights" in the game, but their icon looks like peasants.

What is Colossus? Isn't it a walker?? but you can make Wights fly, they don't have visible "legs", if you know what I mean 
But I vote for WIGHTS!!!! for the Death itself (guess why  ), never remove them!! those silly Death Knights

If Wights should remain, make thier upgrade look like Grim Reapes too, not like a disco. And the upgrade is petty bad, give Wraithes more Attack.

One thing more: Let Giovanni die, it is very silly to transform a Team Rocket boss to a necromancer. A possible campaign could be Ravens way to become Queen of Heresh and that she make an alliance with the Renegades. Galdouth could appear to, and they could resurrect Sandro from his grave.

Lv 3: Wight ---> Wraith (small creatures, and weaker, than in the standart Heroes 5, + Flyer ability)
Lv 4: Vampire ---> Vampire Lord (cast bloodlust)
Lv 5: Lich ---> Archlich (the lich is Caster too)
Lv 6: Black Knight ---> Death Knight
Lv 7: Bone Dragon ---> Spectral Dragon (+ Incorporeal, not sure here)

The problem is that specials can't get changed for now, so you have to stick with ordinary specials.

How? I have ben searching, and I still can't find such a script. I have heard from many players around this forum that such things are impossible. This is Heroes V not Europa Universalis II.

I need Godric in futurisch suit (with laser gun instead of Sword and Shield)!   And his speicalization shoud be Soulhunter (its effect), but the Spec.'s name shoud be Laser Fighter.

About the Knights/Wights problem, I have a solution. There is a mod made by Shadow from elrath.com that changes Wights with Knights and the Dragons with Wights. I made a mod to that mod and changed some texts to English and gave Wights some spells. Here it is (hope it helps):
