i will never understand WHY we didnt stick with ubi chatroom in first place, even if it suck bigtime was the best solution for community refresh
only reason i can think is that need password and some have rip cd's.
however, doubt is more than 20% of ppl and most of them just come and go, players that take heroes 'seriously' most have original
so, once again, is a manifestation of mass crappy human behaviour

you left out the most important reason by far. It was awfully buggy to play through UBI, at least in the start. Take myself as an example, I got error messages when trying to connect to a game more than half of the time at Ubi in the beginning. Some days I couldnt connect to anyone. Hamachi solved that completely, and therefore there was not so much point in hanging around at ubi.

amn it! Damn it! Damn it! I know this is about map forums or something but I am so distressed with this thing man. Its like ok here is the whole Eminem ah ah ah ah ah problem
Ok I get the game HOMMV game right and then I install it. Then it seems that somthing about the emulation thing, I got to delete it or whatever. No big deal anyway. From all of the reviews that I read about HOMMV everyone said the game was hot. Now this is the really sad part, lmao. I start to play the game and everything but I didnt sart playing yet all that I did was watch the introduction and make a name for myself and everything right. And then suddenly when I 'm loading to play this game it says that the security things was not what ever what ever. I don't really listen because I'm reinstalling that thing over and over again. Untilllllll I finally call the number at the book right, lol. Then I'm talking to this guy telling him al about the problem and everything and he said to delete the emulation thing and reinstall it which I kind of told you in the beginning. So I do all of this and I try to play the game again and it says the same thing! Then I call him back and I told him that it didnt work and he was like oh hmmm it should and then we do all of these different things so I could play the game right. Then suddenly he says to go to this thing and tell him what type of whatever whatever I got. So I do it thinking that it would make no difference at all right. Then I tell him and guess what he says.
guess what the crazy unbelievably omfg thing he says when I tell him.
This guy told me that my video chip was wrong and that I had to have a video chip called Geoforce! And by this time I am utterly speechless. I couldn't believe it and then I was like thank you so much for telling me this. So after I hang up I feel like I'm goiing to cry and then I just burst out laughing! I mean after so much work on the computer, the only problem that I had was that I had the wrong video chip I mean that has got to be hilarious right.
But it does not end there, noooooo I have to be even more punished. Because when I go to by the Geoforce video chip thingy and I bring it back with me. I try to install it in the dang on computer(sniffle) and it seems that I bought the Geoforce for the wrong ass computer!
So now I'm just going mad crazy cause I felt so retarded that I would do something so retarded. Hmmmmm I pity myself but I am not a giver upper I will buy that damn thing if I go crazy because of all the things that I heard about this game it just seems like its meant for me ya know?
Truth betold, I never played any other or for the record even heard of a HOMM until maybe just before Christmas! But I will prevail,
damn don't I sound like the biggest nerd that you ever heard of, lol(sigh)=(.
