They are who betrayed the lord of undead (Sandro, the Immotal lich, my idea is him as the King of Undead)

Sience when deads that raised up with dark magic are good?
I just can't get it...

my idea is also strange, inferno turns good 
your necropolish renegade units arent much changed. all i see is removed weaknig strike and added shield bash & demonic ability... o, also suffering has been removed from liches. and of course statistics.
half vampire is nice name

Could always reason that they are group of undead who broke out the the control of a Necromancer, and regain some of their soul back, giving them more free wills and mind of their own. (granted that is just a bit too much like WoW.. but oh well)
Buh.. uh... are they really needed thought?

Vampires and Liches have got soul, so they can think, they can talk. They didn"t like Sandro the Immortal lich (and King of Undead off corse), so they becoem rebels, Half-Vampires are too humany so they becoem wizards and knight, only the strongest necromancer can become lich, the Rasi Liches returned to the wizards... this is chaos...
