2.1 changes

He-he i make some tests and notice that perk "Laststand" not worked, wingaal remain 2% and shcolar works to both sides (Hero now can taek spells from another heroes)

So i interested, what found you??? Sharing expirience about changes is always welcome

I do not know whether this is a known bug, new bug, bug at all or whatever, but help me out:

Yesterday it suddenly occured to me that the "Cold Death" ability would be a great way to counter the all-annoying phoenix. The description says:

Makes Necromancer's spells Ice Bolt and Circle of Winter more
powerful. Those spells will kill at least one creature, if that
creature has no Immunity to Cold.


Well, it doesn`t work! Is it me who misunderstood, or what is it?
One icebolt on one phoenix - noone died..

It is good if schoolar has been fixed - one way teaching was pretty useles if you ask me.

EDIT: Now when I test it whit E.g Duel heroes Cold Death works like a charm. Still puzzled about that final fight yesterday though...

Imbue arrow works fine now and can imbue with stone spikes. Seems 2.0 it does't work with area effect spells or doesn't work at all sometimes. I don't know if its only me, and cycleguy but we have same problem.

Pressing "defence" or casting spell can now get morale

Yeah morale can appear on all 1-turn-deeds. Even Griffins can dive for half round

yes, I was just going to mention that In my last game i used battle dive with griffins, they got moraled, and came down before any of my opponent's creature had a chance to move. Pretty powerful.

Scholar always worked for me both ways

Haven's training has been changed a lot, and I don't know if everyone knows it. I just discovered it in my latest game, that expert counterstrike ability now reduces training cost by 30% !!.
Expert trainer skill reduces the cost by 35% !!
That's 65% in total. It can be furter reduced if you have pendant of mastery.
That means, that you can train priest into palladin for just 2000 gold.
Or even less if you have the pendant.

Only one minor thing, but caravans don't seem to work with elemental conflux any longer.

Scholar didn't work both ways in fact, but I only noticed it by reading a post of somebody. Was quite useless that way, it's fine again now.

Also i noticed, that EVERY Town (wisard or Dungeon)have his own artifacts in artifact merchants

So no buing red player most favored arties at 1-st day of month, and wralocks/wizards can equip more better

I just tested, omg.. they have leser marksmen surely that doesn't make them any weak at all
Its around 1937 bucks for 1 priest to cavailiar, with expert counterstrike/trainer.
The -40% building now becomes +13 more training creatures, hehe 20 more paladins / week after week3 where all towns are fully built is scary on a rich map

Don't know if it's been like that in 2.0, but in 2.1 week of sorrow gives -2 morale & -2 luck not only to haven,sylvan,academy, but also to fortress. It can be confusing, because it doesn't say anywhere that fortress suffers from it too, and I just found it the hard way.

He-he now i learn (said by another player), that Last stand works with 2+ creatures.

So 2 Vamps with 1 HP in corner is unbeatable Vs large creatures unless they have morale... Then we need 2+2 Vamps

I've found a bug in a recent game with Zilo, the bug is that both our heroes had extactly the same position on the ATB bar, and so, the game couldn't decide which one will go first.
My hero was going to act before his, then his gremlins make a shot, and suddenly his hero is before mine. Then his ballista makes a shot, and my hero is going to be first again. Then my ballista makes a shot, and situation on the ATB bar changes again, his hero goes before mine.
Strange stuff

I have noticed a few weird things....And dont know if they are glitches or supposed to be this way and I just never seen it.....

-- Is it possible to have level 6 units show up in a spot where level 7's are preset... Couple games now I have seen Wights and PitLords in a spot that was preset to have Level 7 Guard.  Also hve see Level 1's show up in spot where Level 2's are supposed to be etc... Glitch or normal??

--  Today in a game I attacked a garrison where the creatures are set to NOT let you take creatures....Also all creatures fit on the feild for battle... And I have fought this garrison atleast a dozen times in many games and NEVER had any creatures offered to me after battle.  But today after the Battle it showed 10 Pheonix in garrison and let me put them in my army.  Is this a rare perk...kinda like diplomacy joiners type of thing?  Those phoenix wanted greater glory?  Or was it a freak Glitch?  After that I attacked the other garrison and NO Phoenixes were offered.

Are you absolutely sure about that? What about obstacles on the battlefield? There can be unlikely situations where they might prevent placing all creatures on the battlefield. Just a guess, but I couldn't think of any other possibility right now.

jinx i thought that was old stuf

many fat guys in a garrison dont fit, same as in your army (unless you got tactics) So some fatties have to go somwhere

yea all those are totally normal glitches
I like the % of having lower level guards, dont happen often and it gives a game an extra twist
Also i noticed, when guards become of lower level, most times their number stay the same (when should be 25-30 lev7 its 25-30 lev6)
This happens only when guards set with range

I noticed something in battlezone, i broke garrison as player 1 yesterday, and after breaking, there were 10 free phoenix to be taken from garrison, but not because phoenix can't be placed in battlezone because the breaking was done as shown.
Is that a bug ?

Well smarty pants.... I did know that...however!!!! That is not the problem! All the fatties DID fit and WERE on the field.....and I did KILL all the fatties in the battle.  So put that in your pipe and smoke it....and then after that, offer me some other serious solution as to why its happening.  just kidding....

But seriously... I even checked in editor and garrisons are correctly made.... I am making a Version 1.7 where I redone the garrisons and have tested it multipule times and never got birds so hopefully it solves the problem....either that or its yet another UBI screw up where they think its kewl to put some .5% random game killer luck aspect to game.

Well dont want to spread any bad publicity if its not warrented, but I havent put lost dragons back on my hardrive since the 1 time teacher sent it to me and it screwed my game all up.  Once I removed it I have never had any trouble with any maps I add. Just wierd.
