I just checked the system requirments fot ToE:
Recommended:
Dual core processor
1(2GB RAM for Vista)
256 of video card
i think the game should run pretty good,if your card works(most of the time it does)

so this means that if i have enlightment and takes the ability dark revelation. then i will level up once more. but if i go to a memory mentor and forgets this skill, do i level down one level or not. (for it i don't that could be a way to get to the level cap without cheating).

Yeah, I read that in its entirety in 2006. I was wondering if anyone in the world has been successful trying to recode the AI to be anything like that of Heroes 2-4. I have only played against the AI (I can't risk playing against people because I'm such a sore loser I get violent) and against friends on hotseat all these years, so I was looking to see if Heroes V is worth my time beyond the campaign games.

If i cast ressrection on one of my dead creature, will that apply on the pistine unicorn?

I installed the game on my laptop and it meets the system req. the only thing I am unsure about would be the video card seeing as I don't know how to check which one I have on the computer settings.
The trouble is whenever I go to actually start a map and play the game windows says there has been a problem detected and I can't play.
Has this happened to anyone else? What should I do?

enderwiggin,
if you go to start run and type in dxdiag and then look under the display tab you can see what video card you have. That's probably the issue, maybe it's an Intel?

hmm I typed it in in the start menu when I opened it and it took me to what seemed to be the right place however I did not see any info about my video card, maybe i did it wrong?
The manufacterer is intel and it said I had direct X 10 but I installed 9.0 when I bought it would that be a problem?

That's not a problem. You need directx9 to run the game.

Pheonix,
I think this is the memory card.
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100
It meets all the requirements and should run just whenever I actually am about to start a game it wiggs out and says windows has detected a problem. Any help?
I mean I have a 1.5 GHz processor and I can run Marvel Ultimate Alliance okay with less than system req. strange?

@Bone_Master-depends what kind,mostly it does.
@enderwiggin-you have to have at least directX 9,also go to device manager and try updating drivers for sound,video,display manually.If you are using Vista,windows probably will try to solve the problem itself(if possible).

Okay so I think I'm finally on to something here.
I went to problems reported and sent.
And it had all these Heroes V ones on there and nothing else.
It stated in everyone (every problem the exact same)
that this was a program compatibility problem.
Umm is I have Vista is this the problem?

I have Vista and i have had awfull lot problems with it,but none with Heroes ,most of them are easy to fix.
@ENDERWIGGIN--just wait for some time(few days)after you have send the report.you'll get the answer if solution is available.if not try to do what i asked you in previous post.Does it say that it is APPCrash?

Hmm, the x3100 is technically capable of running it, if I remember my research right.
I'll try to find something to help.
Edit: Just found the usual stuff, some people got it to work with x3100 and vista, some didn't.
Update video drivers, first removing old ones and make sure you have direct x 9 (from the game cd, I think you do already).

Yah I have Direct X10 but installed 9 for the hell of it.
And everything should work but it doesn't I'm pretty sure it's just not compatible with my computer with vista.
why will it work for some vista and not others? whats the deal?
but anyways if this doesn't work out do you guys know of any other good games that I could buy? my processor is only 1.5 GHz
