Hi,
I think I have read somewhere that you can go to that wizard tower in Arlania and trade for ALL the missing lvl 5 ( 4 ?) spells that you don't have, but if it's the Pyramid quest or something else, I can't remember.
I still haven't gotten that Pain Skull down to 0% yet... and none of you fellas found this before ? Ahh, well I am about to hit the Book of Death area, just hit lvl 19 on hard, but I am guessing ( not having finished the game yet ) that I am going to have to use "sneak - get the ** outta Dodge" tactics .... ALOT  - Running low on magic runes aswell..and that's a bummer.

Just finished this game yesterday and I have to say that it was totally worth the two weeks of playing. I did absolutely nothing else on my computer during that time.
Took nearly one hundred game days. Maybe I hung around and admired the graphics too much since when I checked the default records they were all around 30-40 game days.
Anyway, I'm definitely going to buy the sequel.

Hi,
Just a quick question...but rather important one.
That zombie that walks the cemetary just of off the swamp lands...I KNOW he carries a/some cool arties... and I HAVE done it once before... but darnit if I can remember how I did it - I mean to get him to have a look/give me the thing(s) he has ... would really like a walkthrough here please
lvl 5 mage / 3rd start...on hard.

Think you have to bring him human flesh after talking with the Dwarven alchemist.

His lewt is not impressive. Do not bother with him unless for the XP, when you can manage the zombies. Other than that (or maybe it is something i have missed, teh lewt it is not worthwhile).
Tons of zobiez - good XP.
PS: I dunno, Omega, I went back to him after i did the said quest with the dwarf, he still didn't want to give his artifact freely. Maybe i was in a too of a rush to calm down then, so i went away. Later, I came back and /pwned him good.

So in fact , I need to steer clear of the Witches quest ( to blow up his alcemist bottle thingy ) BEFORE I have gotten some meat ?? damn, then I need to start all over because last time I got the Generals Baton ( from 250-1000 Leadership ) and I have heard that you can actually get the Painskull of off him as well .... hmmm

If this is your third time through why still play on hard?
Take on impossible I tell you. It's not too hard.
Especially if you're playing a mage. Just firerain or geyser through everything.

Nope. The witches quest only makes it better for you, because the alchemist is kinda nuts.

My first time was on hard and I played warrior and I beat invincible monsters without any losses if we don't count one geyser the enemy hero used.
So go home, mage sissies and play with warr like a man.

It took me a while because of different reasons, but I've finally finished my first run (Paladin on normal). As everyone said the game was great fun, although I must admit that the last parts were a slightly disappointing - the Orc lands felt rather empty compared to other worlds filled with hostile forces, castles and hidden goodies. And the final fight was... well pathetic, I've had "creeper" fights harder than this... much harder.
Did anyone else had this feeling about the last parts or am I missing something?

Yeah, especially about the last fight.
It was pathetic. I had maybe half my forces and most were in reserve and I still won handily.
Paladin too.

Getting through the Haas labyrinth was tough but Murock was pretty easy.
The very final fight was fairly tough for my warrior. I had to redo it once.
Maybe I'll get back to my hard mage game.

It wasn't too bad for my paladin. Thankfully I had Knights with me. Unfortunately, I also had Royal Thorns. >_<

It was easy for my paladin. Played that on hard.
I had skel drags, skel archers, blackies, reds and the succubi.
Skel drags and especially skel archies had taken heavy casualties before.
Thankfully blackies, reds and succubi(the woman ring) kick ass. 
I had full emeralds and ancient vampires in reserve.
Mage was on impossible but that is not worth talking about.

The game-play was awesome but the ending... well, I can say with honest that it was the worst ending I have ever seen in a serious game.

It wasn't supposed to be. The game is basically one big fairy tale made up from different small fairy tales and classic fantasy stereotypes. It was not intended as an epic serious game. Much more emphasis was put on humour and silly references (which probably were lost in the translation though).
