Duel Matchups
I thought I'd take a few minutes and post the list of heroes that have a good chance of beating other heroes in duel mode. I'll list the hero to BEAT 1st, then the heroes that have the greatest chance of beating them (if you aren't very good it won't guarentee a win). I'm not going to list every combination, but I'll list the tougher ones to beat for sure (top 3 to use against them).
A few will have heroes that can beat each other. It totally depends on how you play them if you can beat them easily with the other one, that's why I listed both.
Deleb: Karli, Helmar, Raven
Razzak: Ossir, Karli, Deirdre
Ebba: Ossir, Karli, Jhora
Jhora: Karli, Deleb, Razzak
Karli: Galib, Ossir, Deirdre
Irina: Karli, Razzak, Helmar
Vittorio: Raven, Helmar, Karli
Dirael: Marbas, Karli, Razzak
Ossir: Karli, Deirdre, Deleb
Deirdre: Jhora, Deleb, Raven
Galib: Deleb, Marbas, Irina
Raven: Ossir, Marbas, Karli
Sinitar: Deleb, Marbas, Karli
Nymus: Helmar, Karli, Vittorio
Klaus: Raven, Karli, Dirael
Anwen: Razzak, Deleb, Karli
Eruina: Karli, Jhora, Deleb
Lethos: Raven, Karli, Jhora
Marbas: Karli, Ebba, Razzak
Orson: Marbas, Deleb, Karli
The best by far is Karli. Interestingly enough, after trying countless combinations against him, Galib has the greatest chance for success!

How about turning the list upside down - so that you list for each Hero the opponents he has the best chances to beat - or make it so that you list not 3 Heroes that might beat him, but all those that might have the upper hand against him - and only those that might have the upper hand. That would make a list that would be more useful in terms of checking whether there are any balance breaks - thus, Karli might have an extremely long list of Heroes he has the upper hand against (or a very short list where he is the underdog), whereas others might show the opposite tendencies.
Of course, this would be a rather cumbersome task, as one would have to evaluate all heroes against each other and determine who has the upper hand.

All Runemages are pretty strong in duel whit runes. First i liked Ebbas Bears but later Karli became my favorite duel/advanture hero in the game.

Is Karli really so good on duelz?
He is specialised with Skirmishers and he has only 100 od 'em. They can be quickly and easly killed with Ossir's Master Hunters. Moreover he has weak spellz and you won't be able to ressurect dead stack of Skirmishers with Rune of Ressurection. I think Helmar is much better, cuz he has nize Light adn Destructive Spellz and 20 Warlords, which are, IMHO, the best strategic unite in Dwarves' Army.

Karli is overpowered in duel because he got all of runes, you can use them in each turn, if it will not trigger instantly, it will be still to use. so you have boosted army with runes. compuer do it a lot

Otherwise he's just pathetically imbalanced.

Yeah, I thought about doing that, but didn't want to take the time to do it.
Some heroes are almost worthless in duel (Sinitar, Anwen, etc).
I should probably rank the heroes in order of who I think is best overall to worst overall. That would help determine boosts also. I know that doesn't help others who aren't as familiar with duel, but at least it would be something too. If I can get time, I'll reverse the list so it shows the hero who is good against other heroes.

The biggest imbalance in Karli's army is the ability to hit all the units around them (rune of battle rage) with the Warlords. They can even activate the rune to get two attacks and THEN that rune to hit every unit around them 2 times with the chain. It basically destroys the entire army.
The 2nd most imbalance thing is the rune of ressurection. It means you can only beat him with armies that can do a lot of damage in a very short period of time. If you can't do that, you've lost. So armies that "wear down" the enemy will have no effect on this hero. His magic resistance also makes him beat any magic hero with ease. Sinitar would be a GREAT candidate (since he negates magic resistance) if his 50 assassins were replaced with 75 upgraded minotaur. I WISH they'd make that change. All I can hope for is they implement the "custom" armies well in the next version...

Interesting list though I would make the following changes:
Deleb: Karli, Helmar, Raven, Irina
Razzak: Ossir, Karli, Deirdre, Deleb
with Vulnerability and completely protected Succubi, Deleb can defeat Razzak without much difficulties
Galib: Deleb, Marbas, Irina, Eruina
Eruina beats Galib big time; those 180 Blood Furies, if I remember right, kill 30 mages (half) in one blow... 4 Titans are dead because of the Grim Raiders, and the Raksashas won't do anything because they can't reach the Furies in one turn... and before their second turn the game is over anyway
Seriously, I defeated Galib by losing only the Grim Raiders and 80 Furies
Orson: Marbas, Deleb, Karli, Eruina
Again, Orson simply can't do anything with his slow army against the Blood Furies. If you're smart, you may place a stack of 1 Shadow Witch near the Furies to prevent deadly Frenzy attacks

I'm sure you noticed I only posted 3 for each. I posted the 3 most likely to win. Your list is pretty good too, but I'd leave them back in 4th or 5th place.
Orson can be beat by almost anyone since the latest changes. He is far too easy. He needs about 50 zombie and 100 skeleton added.
Deleb can't take Razzak pretty easily depending on who's placing him and how. I've beaten both Deleb and Razzak pretty often either way because of the way people play them. If you can manage to keep the Succubus hidden, you're right. But with morale bonus and teleport, it's fairly easy to get to them. If you can't, the person playing Deleb was lucky.
