Given that we can't reach an agreement about cleaning the thread at this stage, let's not. Locking the thread would also serve no purpose as far as server is concerned.
But gathering all the photos, optimizing them and hosting them on HC server is a good idea. Are you still up for that?
Who will gather the photos for optimization? Does someone have the now missing photos saved on their computer?
I repeat that filespace access will be for moderators only, so don't start arguing about stars

Agreed, however I think that if members have removed their photos for one reason or another this should be respected... I mean that I don't think we should post pictures of people without their permission, we don't know how their life circumstances have changed over the years, etc.
I think you had a few volounteers to gather and resize the pics, and to make a new index too

No one removed thier photos thats there right now.
The only person who has was Cathrine & a few others who decided to put thier photos in her Bucket space.
Otherwise the links just broke.
I am starting to think this whole idea is bad now because it going no where.
Too many new ideas that creates drama's
Like I said yall can do what you want but if Val wants the thread cleaned then clean it.
If he wants to move the pics then move them.
If your worried about what other people think.
I would advice to leave the whole thread alone & move on.
Clean the spam if you like.
hmm Mac cheese with Shell noodles also with fresh melted swish cheese in pepper ketchup & mayo  .
Should of cooked an egg with it too

OK, since this thread got serious again, I deleted my spam. (but now it looks like you guys were talking to yourselves.
What do you guys think of doing an index something like this? The members could be listed alphabetically and have direct links to the pictures along with links to the pages.

This is getting rediculas.
I think if you want to delete the spam then thats good.
Too many Ifs & questions about people who dont even come here anymore.
I say just leave it alone.
Move on & do what we have been doing on here.

Only problem with that is that it would take much longer for me to do.
I mean, I have a lot of free time, and will not mind doing the rl pics index, as I have already posted some of it.
I could however do it in your format if you wanted me to

You know Aculias, my old self would have craved for a QP, and I would have been doing this just to earn one.
But that is my old self, now, I am doing these kinds of things to help the community, and to make HC a better place, and contribute to it.
I don't care if I get a QP or not, I just wanna contribute and make this place better
of course, QPS are awesome to get, but they are not the end of the world

William, that puts people like me "out in the cold" so to speak and not entirely fair.
If you wanted to put a restriction on it, then why not make it a time kind of thing rather than how many this or that you have.
For example, in order to upload picture(s) you'd have to be here at least a month, and have contributed to at least one of the forums.
