I don't understand: new upgrades work like a 3rd-upgrade or an alternative-upgrade?
For example:
"devil-> archdevil-> demonlord"
or
"demonlord <-devil-> archdevil"?
I havn't read all pages...

im sorry im going to be blunt.
the red angel wont be used, nad i dont have it either
what will be used, will not be shared to maintianed project originality,once it will be realised you could borrow it with propper credit.unfounrtly i do not have ANYting from old meterial and probbly will make some of them from scratch.
also,the original name is not a red crusader but a shock trooper,stop offending him was based on squire and trooper made not by me,but offerd as an exchange deal for two other creatures i dont remmber which excally though,from russian Co-Modders years ago.
you'll excuse me i have nothing of 3d modding era and i think wow sprites look ugly in h3 graphics,just as probbly h3 sprites look bad in wow game
also i hate ubisoft for killing the story,lets point it here. since this mod will forget h4 happend...and h5...and h6...and mm9...and clash of heroes....MUAHAHAHAHA

Looks good. My only comments...
- Gold Genie has a weird hat.
- Blue Naga seems a little... I cannot point it out  . Too dark? Too blue?

The hat on the new Genie is a little odd, while the Alt. Naga is a little large and a little blue. You may use the turban of the Alt.Wizard for the Genie, and think of something else for the Alt.Genie.
Anyway, what are these creature names?
Gremlin Saboteur
Marble Gargoyle
Gold Golem
Grand Mage(or Battle Mage)
Genie Vizier
Deep Naga?
And Hey, great to see you're using Might and Magic as Reference
But M&M defs are a little large(gargoyle, naga) compared to H3 ones, so, you may want to reduce their size a little.
And yeah, go H3!

deep naga; if you know what i mean [lol]. 'deep' is usually used for abyssal depths [in seas] while tower has nothing to do with water...but snow and high altitudes.

By the way, there is a good example, how one can add new upgrade to standart town in VCMI (example adds 3th level upgrade for efreets, can be used to understand, how it works, and to modify other levels of Inferno):
