Chainmail
Everyone gets it at one stage or another, sometimes more then others.
From what I have seen, Myspace and Youtube have received heaps of chain mail from other so called "users".
Myspace, not so much anymore, but Youtube has a lot of chain mail.
The thing that has been bothering me lately, is why people can be so stupid at times to keep spreading the chainmail.
I mean, not stupid, but dumb at times.
People want chain mail to be gone, but people keep forwarding emails to other people with chain mail, why could you be that dumb?
It just does not make sense to me.
Another place where chain mail is a big one, is on MSN.
Why people keep sending chain mail to others is beyond me.
Such chain mail might include:
"If you do not send this to 15 other people in 1 hour, then your best friend will die"
That is just an example, but they are pretty much all the same as that.
Sometimes, they come with stupid stories, like a girl may have died in 1984 and her soul is not at rest yet, and you need to send it to 15 other people so she can finally Rest in Peace.
Like, what is up with this stuff?
It really does not make any sense with me, and quite frankly, I am getting a bit sick of chain mail.
The good thing, imo, is that this site, from my experience here, has not had much Chain mail, which is always a good thing.
So who wants Chain Mail to go away, forever?
Please, let's discuss

I knew someone was going to do that sooner or later.
But please, this is a serious topic.
What do you all think about chain mail (Electronic chain mail, not armour)?

Well I do not usually take it seriously, but it is becoming a serious problem, especially with emails and also youtube (there is alot of it happening there).
Another annoying thing (which could tie into this), is spam.
Like porn advertisers, advertisers for their products, etc etc.
That all gets a bit annoying.
Especially when you get heaps of these emails every day, it is making me sorta angry

Chain Messages, Are They Needed?
I'm not sure if it's becoming a serious problem, but it's a major annoyance. I mostly ignore the chain messages on MySpace, but they're more bothersome on Youtube because I like to read people's comments. I'll admit that reading the first one or two chain messages kinda creeped me out, but it got old really quickly. Remember what I said about overkill, William? It applies to this too. If there's any impact whatsoever, it wears off in no time at all because you see too much of it. You just stop caring about it after a while.
I don't think it's that serious an issue, though. I'm far more concerned about hackers and those moronic nutcases who program trojans.
